I didnt like the recent game that much (WW v LSM)... wasnt as enjoyable and fun to watch as other games with ww or lsm. After watching I thought it was quiet repetitive, although the tricks varied a lot. just some weird afternoon thoughts

agree'd. The Bunch style isnt that enjoyable in the park and doesn't transition well to the competition format. I love their edits, but so many of those tricks are learned through repetition and not skiing skill IMO. Also, would have been nice if will didnt leave his rollerblades on the airplane - would have been a closer game O.o
 
Damn I'm pretty surprised will lost, I wish he got to set more. shows how hard some of that stuff lsm does is though, like the backslide hand drag

That's how you acquire any skill in any activity, sports or otherwise. Bunch boys are mad skilled skiers, their tricks often just appear deceivingly simple.

So much this, the Bunch guys are all fucking good at skiing. It's everyone's individual prerogative to decide what they do or don't like to watch but to deny the skill it takes to do what the Bunch do makes you look stupid. There is a reason they get so much respect from other pros.
 
Imo if you win a slvsh game or loose says nothing about the skiers ability. both shred pretty good and both do it for fun. both don t really care about the outcome if you d ask me.

both shred hard but in different ways.

WW is a machine when he s skiing urban or some techy rail set ups or just a flat tube. unreal. street x games and LTC are proof enough.

lsm on the other hand has a pretty "innovative" style. flailing arms, shuffles, nollies, grabs on rails, one footers and different slides without much spinning. I dont really like cause it looks too repetitive...

andy parry vs todd warnick could havea similar outcome. todd begins sends some hyphy stuff on rails or kickers and andy does some rail wizardry.

I mean, this thread is where people discuss games, so I don't see why people shouldn't be able to talk win/lose. Just don't view the thread until you've watched it. Firecrotch is in the clear here I think.

I'm guessing they're 172s, there is a shot of him holding the skis in the game and they go up to his nose and he's around 5'10ish. Really not that short, you ever seen a comp podium before? Full camber skis don't always need to be super long for stability like rockered ones do.

i meant when we had daily slvsh games we were spoiled. i don't think weekly is spoiled. also as a discussion of a match i think its allowed to say one is worse than others. think about an NHL discussion thread, there are worse games and better. it terms of pricing you are right though, free stuff is nice

When was there ever daily games? The most ive seen is every other day during a cup...

That being said, you are spoiled getting weekly free content, slvsh could fully go subscription and make you pay $10/month to watch their shit, but thats not what they believe in. The internet is full of free stuff and full of hate for it, it blows my mind. Have you watched the awful shit thats on TV, that people pay $100/month for? Just playing devils advocate here, just don't think its fair to just shit on games cause they weren't up to your standards.
