SLVSH

I personally guarantee he is the only human in history to execute that pattern of whirly spins on a metal thing.

In reality, the name change is ridiculous, but 4 pretz 4 off a down rail is fucked. He stomped it repeatedly at x games last year, and now he pulled it off in the clutch to win a slvsh game. My suggestion was just meant to appreciate the fact that he seems to have it on lock.

Lmao I've done a 4p4. I remember an older Windells edit with Gus Kenworthy lacing one on a dfd as well.

whoops

Sick game yet again! Vinny coming with some creativity! Allthough I am really not a fan of 180's and switch 180 etc. into downrails during slvsh games. They are sick tricks for sure, but it is so hard to judge when it qualifies as a spin to 50-50, and when it considered crooked etc. Pretty much every time they do not exactly land at 50 on the rail, which is logical but when do you let it count and when not?

Yep agreed....Like I've found this slvsh cup the judging to be iffy depending on circumstance and technicality of tricks called...Like other cups basically getting the trick has been enough whereas this time round it's like gotta be 100% nailed or there's no reward

Lowkey Vinnie's kosack cork 3 was kind of beautiful

Fuck the low key, that was the greatest thing to happen in slvsh thus far. I was stoked when ABM called the set and then Vinnie fuckin hung it out to dry!

what a crazy match. The four pretz four was unreal. Ostien couldn't wrap his head around it.

i wanted bellemare to win the whole time but thought oystein would because he can do crazy shit

bellemare is not only technical, but stylish as fuck. I love it.

didn't he used to work at Micky D's before he became a pro skier?

That was fun! I actually thought the game was going to be closer. Bellemare outplayed Øystein quite well i think, and knowing how good Øystein is, that surprised me a little. Bellemare played excellent defense and did most of the tricks way more steezy, imo.

And this time we got to see excellent reffing from FUNKERZ! Really enjoyed this cup. Keep it up "Theslvsh"!

PS; you guys deserve way more views.

Alex's cork six was even less corked than Wackos quad and no letter, then he calls out oystein for not grabbing blunt long enough and then gives it to Alex when alex barely touched it. Wtf. Now that I'm done bitching, it was still a crazy game, loved it when the other Alex's came in and stompted the tricks.

Prove me wrong then. I've never even seen a shot of him doing a triple or a dub that wasn't a cork. They might be out there but this is the Olympics we're talking about here, consistent rails is only going to get you so far.

...still with a couple stock dubs. Not saying he doesn't have the capacity to throw bigger or more complex things, just from what I've seen he doesn't stand a snowballs chance in hell against a lot of guys with way better jumps. However it is still a ways away so we'll see. My original point though is that his rails are still way better than his jumps.

if rails end up being half the points, which they very well could be, then a run with stuff like 4 pretz 4's will make up for a weaker jump game vs people doing the standard 2 pretz 2's and such that you normally see in comps.

plus he could easily pull out some fantastic jump tricks.

i dunno, the judges are notorious for not giving a shit about rails compared to the jumps.

Bellmare pyeongchang 2018

now this something ill vote for

between him and evan canada pretty much has that comp locked down

but we're already leading in the slvsh cup wins, which lets face it is what matters

historically-- and by that i mean in the x games-- that was definitely true, but i feel like i remember that in olympic slope '14 the rail section influenced people's scores heavily. is that true? can anyone jog my memory there?

Can someone explain the side snack reference to me I'm genuinely confused

13714444:solid.seven said:
There was a dude on here maybe about a year ago who started calling everyone (but mostly SJW) a sidesnack. Then people just started calling SJW a sidesnack for a multitude of reasons. Now it's just an inside joke of sorts!

All I can think of is Andy Parry talking about the "snack pocket" in his Orage coat hahaha

can wabs ref every slvsh game?

agree!!

wabs and woodsy are fking killing it as referees! Every game gets even better when the referee is as hyped as wabs or woodsy haha

Not my favorite style of skiing but it was still a entertaining match. I also thought Torin skiing by was funny

to be fair it didn't seem like there were that many features up in that park

i honestly couldn't follow 1/5th of what those tricks were though when they named them

appreciated wabs saying upfront he was calling a loose game, judging is judging so long as it's consistent

Yeah im not a fan of that kind of style of tricks and that park looked pretty empty. But wabs coaching was consistent as always.
