Yeah and depending on the coach, someone grabbing tindy was ruled as grabbing blunt. If you haven't figured it out yet, you're a fucking idiot.

Watching you try to be funny is kinda like watching Madonna try to be sexy. Sure, years ago it used to work, but now its just sad.

There's nothing funny about being a shitty coach.

*pause game cause lakers "hand hurt"*

*proceeds to fist bump and high five after his win with his "hurt hand"*

hahaha jk that was some sick stuff

i think Anti got robbed on that sw 7 tail tap. Who cares if his nose hit too? Call as much or as little as you want... Hall vs laker is going to be nuts.

yeah I thought that was a bs call. He def got the tail tap

Big up to slvsh for putting on this event. To have such a high level of skiing, not only technically but also highly original and stylish packed into one event that is available to view freely is awesome. Slvsh has now become my go to archive for ski hype, and is possibly one of the best things I have seen in skiing for a while. Huge props to Joss, Matt and all the riders that are making this happen. I think the ski community needed this.

I would however like to make one criticism, the judging is sloppy on some games. I think it lends to a better competition and also to better viewing if the judging is done by the book. I have seen a few judges absolutely killing it on some very tough decisions and think it is commendable, but in general I think the standard does need to be set a bit higher. So far in the slvsh cup in peretol there have been a lot of cork 3's and 5's called, but mostly they have just been performed as slightly off axis rotations. This is similarly true for more technical grabs, taps and nollie based tricks. Please tighten the judging up a bit guys, a little more consistency and small explanations of the decisions go a long way to making the videos more enjoyable.

Still an awesome series that I will continue to watch regardless.

Antti has knees made of rubber. It is confirmed, he is the incredible Rubber Man because there is no way a humans leg should be ok after that. The legs are facing completely opposite directions!

The ref gave him a letter because he did tail tap and then a nose tap, not just tail tap.

But I agree I don't think it shoulda been a letter. Sick game though

The way I see it is his second "tap" was more of a tip catch while spinning like someone would do spinning off a rail too early. It's pretty clear that's what happened after seeing the slow-mo video review in the edit.

That misty 7 nose was too sick!

The idea is that when we get money, we could have more angles on riders to really see what happens. We would also obviously have personable judges who know all the tricks and are tighter. No budget for any of that yet though.

This free thing you provide us is amazing and we all love every second it, but you absolutely have to make it better, it's totally unacceptable.

The current format is pretty cool as it is. It has a relaxed, skiing for fun feel and this is refreshing in competition. Adding more angles would be great from a viewers point of view as you can see in greater detail what the skiers are doing. Do you think that tougher judging could change the vibe of the games?

I kinda like the inconsistencies in judging to be honest. In the cup format, it can be a little agravating at times but it echos pretty true to how other sports are reffed. Maybe a rule book should be devised for slvsh comps but as far as regular games ago I like the looseness of the reffing. Makes every game a little different

Might be a bit strict to call the double tap as a letter, but I think it was in line with his reffing of the game as a whole, so I think it was a good call. The little hand drag and coming off the rail slightly early/off balance were both called as letters too, when some of the refs would have called those clean. Nice to have some variety that way, some games everything has to be textbook, and some games can be fun and loose.

I kinda like it when it's a little tighter. It's hard to draw a line when you have different refs as well.

I just dont think Antti shoulda got a letter for the barrel jib. But hey its all over

For real

For a guy that couldn't land a ski sponsor two years ago Antti is no doubt one of the most talented and creative skiers in the game right now. The fact that this game with an AFP leading red bull sponsored Olympian was decided based on one judging call is insanely impressive. Oystein is a super talented skier but we already knew that. Antti has put in work and earned respect this season and that's dope

Yeah well its called a tap, not a double tap so fuck off. Its about executing the same trick, not something that's similar but slightly different. Its pretty simple.

Ay chill

Obviously it was gonna be tight, it was the finals

I'm not going to lie I totally thought that was Jonas(sp?) who reffed the first Slvsh cup. But that led me to look up Hanka, and holy fucking shit, have y'all seen this? I think I counted 6 shiftys at :50.

Alex, you're on another level man. How you have some of those tricks on lock like that I have no idea.

you guys are already providing so much free content for us.

i got to ski 2 hour this season because of a knee injury and you guys have kept me stoked on skiing.

well of course it d be nice to have a tighter judging but i feel it s not really the most important.

You guys succeeded in putting together the most interesting competition in skiing, because the slvsh cup is not about who wins, it s about the games.

i mean i really dont care who wins, but i ll remember the epic games.

so keep it raw, funny, and lighthearted because that s what most people love in skiing.

nothing but

During one of the games with Kegan in it, there was a transfer rail and the trick was to make the transfer. Kegan front swaped it when who ever set the trick (Jonah or Ben Smith maybe?) went straight. It counted as a make for Kegan because he did the maneuver called, just added the front swap... So fuck off with your fuck off's

So Trivia Crack applies both ways? A-Hall already set at the start, gave Laker 3 straight, Trivia Crack switched the set, then Laker gave him 3 straight, and then the set went back to A-Hall. Just curious as I thought that Trivia Crack was brought in to avoid a straight shut out from the Giray game and only applied one time.

Yeah I thought that was kind of bullshit

Okay, I realize now that no one understood my comment as being sarcastic. I thought it was fairly obvious.

I was making a sarcastic jab after someone said "tighten up the judging" as if it was unacceptable. Joss and Walker do an amazing job putting these together, I am pretty blown away by the amount of content they put out.

I will be more obvious in my sarcasm in the future or maybe just 100% literal all the time.
