SLVSH

Whenever Woodsy says A Hall it sounds like he's saying A Hole..

That's honestly the best skiing video I've ever seen, and definitely the best SLVSH match up so far. My children's children will watch that game

Colby was robbed on that "cork 3" tail tap. Shouldn't have counted that one for A Hall. Other than that, god damn god damn...

Game was fuuuucked. So many sick tricks. Whoever goes to the finals from the left side of the bracket is gonna win

AHall vs Colby had me like

Alex Hall is on some next level shit, like what holes does he have in his game? Those taps made my jaw drop.

Alex and Antti in the final will be nuts.

my bracket is pretty much 100% wrong, and im glad for it. All these riders are killing it that last game was easily one of the best ive ever seen.

I'm pretty stoked for a potential Laker vs Hall semi-final. I think Laker could take that if he calls his tricks right. It seems like once Hall has control of the game for a while and gets his groove you're pretty fucked.

I picked Oystein to win the whole thing and he would still be my pick at this point, but the more games I watch the less confident I am.

completely agree, Braten was my pick from the start. I think he barely edges out A-Hall in the final.

Magnus: *Calls ollie over the rail, taps it*

Ref: Ayy no problem

Oystien: *Nollie 3 over the rail, taps it*

Ref: Sorry mate thats a letter

Anyone else catch that? Didn't seem very fair

The reffing was iffy, but it seemed as if he was calling a loose game and seemed to keep it that way the whole time. Not what I would like to see, but I don't think it had an effect on the outcome.

The tap at the ollie was so small so i dont think the ref saw that but Oysteins tap on the close out was easier to see

Loved this game....so fucking good. A Hall is a PROBLEM. Woodsy the best ref, free. Love the editing shenanigans, lightened things up fit perfectly.

Haven't been that stoked on this slvsh cup as I was the last one, but that game was something else all together.

agreed on all counts. insane game, woodsy is a fuckin great ref and just seems like an awesome dude, and the slow mo zooms into reactions were awesome

I think that game was closer than everyone thought it would be huge props to Magnus

The design of this park (more low speed tech features, no big jumps) is definitely having a positive impact on leveling the playing field for skiers with all different styles which is cool

For the nollie over at 7:35 it definitely does not sound or look like Magnus tapped it.

No, you are absolutely wrong. He called a WALLIE. It even says so in the trick description on the bottom. A wallie is a skateboard trick where you ollie, and basically very quickly contact the surface of whatever object before you push the nose of the board back flat up and over the object.

He meant to contact the closeout on the wallie 360, and meant not to contact it on the nollie 360.

Woodsy seems like such a fun guy to ski with, makes him the best ref yet

Ahall vs Colby was fucking insane, so many insane tricks stomped first try. Blind 4 with the tap? Wtf? That plus his straight air has got ahall as one of my favorite guys to watch right now

Thats not the one everyone is talking about.

You're pretty dumb man I'm talking about the ollie at 2:05 where he clearly and audibly hit the rail he was supposed to clear, and ref was fine with it. Oystien tapped the closeout later on, and got a letter.

that game was sick, way closer than i thought it was going to be.

its pretty cool that it got so close considering how much more technical oystein is with his tricks

also, the switch hand drag zero spin over the tube was nuts

I think the ollie/nollie over debate comes down to how you define "over" in those tricks. Oystein didn't really make it "over" the rail at all, where as Magnus' body definitely made it, but his skis barely didn't. I bet if Oystein had barely tapped one nose of one ski on that closeout rail it would've been called good, but who knows.

Yeah and depending on the coach, someone grabbing tindy was ruled as grabbing blunt. If you haven't figured it out yet, you're a fucking idiot.
