SLVSH

need that joona v. magnus.

woulda picked some different winners had I known where they were playing....sall good though, really fucking cool concept and content.

Perfect so far, going out and calling ABM vs Oystein in the final with Oystein taking it all.

Joona vs Magnus will be good as well.

Poor Woodsy just can't get a good game under his belt haha. Oh well still killing it

wow I did not expect that game to be that close

for the first couple minutes I was worried that could have been the biggest upset of the entire bracket

Haha, figured a few people would't catch that at the end cause its super short. Bummer for Evan but I guess it means we have a guaranteed new slvsh champ!

Evan just fucked my bracket, what an asshole. jkjk

I had to watch that game without sound because I'm in class. What happened at the end there? Why did wallace get the w?

Evan hurt his knee, so unfortunately he can not continue... sucks

Evans boi 9 wasnt a bio 9

Shame he hurt his knee i wanted to see him and vinny play a game.

Stoked for magnus joonas game

So is Noah the "correct" pick here? How does this affect brackets? You'd think the winner of ABM v Laker would get a bye, but then again and luckily, this isn't the world of strict rules and regulations.

We figured more games > giving people byes. In future cups, this could be changed if people want. But for this sunset park slvsh cup, Noah moves on and Noah winning will count for brackets.

Fair enough.

Also ahall is very well spoken. 10/10 reffing job

So is ABM out as well? Saw at the end of the Evan V Noah game that Noah Morrison is slotted in for ABM against Laker in the first round...

or just not count the points from that one game towards the brackets. more fair that way.

Peanut butter 1? It's a fucking nose butter. Congrats on being sooooo creative! That name just changed the whole dynamic of skiing!

Also when Joona called right cork 7 trailing and Magnus got the revenge. Magnus didn't even get corked. That was shitty shitty reffing.

Yea, not really tough. Nose butter your tips can drag all the way through the trick. A "peanutbutter," which should just be called a nollie, your tips leave the ground.

Yeah I'd call it Nollie 180 too. I'd agree Magnus shouldn't have got the revenge on that r7 stale, since Joona called corked but it must be so easy to miss this stuff in real time. I'd also argue Joona's Lazyboy Flat 3 was one of the flattest rotations I've ever seen, no idea why that got called a no go.

All that said, that game was fucking awesome and made me want to go shred real bad. Two of the best skiers in the game right now in one of the best games I've ever seen.

yee true knew when I posted I was definitely wrong but I was hoping people knew what I was talking about.

my bracket is messed up now but im ok with it, loved how even though magnus isn't as technically skilled on the bigger tricks he got some letters on joona with some creative stuff you wouldn't find in a normal slvsh game

Yeah I thought both those flat 3s were solid. I guess the ref sees flat 3s as being wackflips

Ref was super inconsistent, he seemed to give letters to the the leader instead of who didn't stick the trick. Game couldve been a lot better.

don't even know how a rodeo 270 can exist. also they both did the exact same trick for that. just Magnus landed it. it's more like a switch flat 270.

I dunno what you expect a rodeo 270 to look like.

I think Joona tried to do what he does at this edit at 1:43 but switch

(I recommend you to watch whole edit if you havent seen it, its really good)

that's a misty since he's rotating forward over his shoulder. cool trick though. looks like it would be incredibly difficult off anything that wasnt qp type hit.

either way, Magnus did the exact same trick but landed it.
