Hey, i am thinking about buying a slr from my friend but have some questions about it.

It is a Sigma sa-7n and im wondering if it will be good for shooting skiing pics?

I have never owned a slr before and also want to know if this is an ok camera for a beginer?

And yes i know that a dlsr would be a better camera for a beginner but i just dont have the skrilla for one of them right now.

+k for all helpfull posts!

I am also going to try to shoot some nature shots with it as well if that makes a difference.

i really dont and wont have the money, my question is will that one be at least decent for ski pics?

if you don't mind spending shrilla to find and buy ISO 800+ film and then paying to have it developed, sureee.

I shot film for a longgg time. It get's expensive real quick. You'd be better off finding a rebel xti and kit lens for about 350.

If the only reason you want a film SLR is to save money then you shouldn't get one. It's a good way to learn technical fundamentals correctly, but not a great way to progress quickly, and is not cheap.
