Nothing better than seeing a super styly 7 or less off a big jump. Hucked tricks just look to forced, no matter how impressive they are a slow rodeo 5 or cork 7 will win everyday.
Pros still spin really nicely when doing large spins. Seeing on a screen versus seeing it in person looks a bit different. First time I saw a double 12 in person it loked pretty good, and it was on the denver big air ramp. Hornbeck did really nice looking 9's.
I feel like this is how a lot of the people in this thread feel, but aren't willing to admit it. As for me, I have no preference, because you could make either one look good with a touch of style.
well i like slow and smooth but although i cant do this yet just a fast smooth stylish spin like the pros. whenever i try to spin faster it just comes out as a huck there is nothing smooth about it.
so glad someone posted that edit...perfect example of my favorite kind of park skiing... and every kid on ns is always gonna say that they like style on jumps, but out on the hill they're spinning to win and thats what they're stoked on.
There was a snowboarder at my hill the other day doing these super hucked 7's that looked like he was going to eat shit everytime but he always ended up stomping them. They were actually quite enjoyable to watch.
I prefer to see a dub 12 over a fucking 5 any day. This has to be the most retarded debate on SG. I can't believe people would rather see a fucking 5 or 7 over doubles and shit. If you wanna see a god damn 7 come watch me, I've been skiing for 2 fucking years and have 7s on lock. Stupid kids
Just because a trick is fast doesn't mean it doesn't look good. I for one hate when people have edit with like all 7's and 5's and no hard tricks. Anyone can make a 5 or 7 look good. You gotta have hard tricks to get my respect. Ex. Brogan doing tail 5's, look cool, but really old.
