which do you prefer?

THE SPRINKLER: get butt naked and then do a 1260 while taking a piss, i expect this trick to win many comps this coming season.

slopestlye. anyone can hit a jump once and make something of themselves but it takes skill to do it numerous times in 1 run

If your a pro, IM A HOE!

slopestyle cuz theres rails too

is a switch rodeo 1080 not an insanely huge trick?

i definitley prefer slopestyle, big air is lame, one sided and unneccasarily dangerous. big air is for one hit wonders.

slopestyle involves style, rhythm, technicality and flow, it really showcases the soul of our sport

slopestyle is the best but bigair isnt bad at all.

you and and a group of other skiers sessioning a giant kicker to see who has the largest genitals with tons of people watching you. that would be radical.

i prefer slopstyle.. more flow

slopestyle shows better all around talent

slopestly cause you can ride a long run and do different hits, but you really have to plan it out, big air is one hit and easy to plan out

I like the Orage air a couple years ago...

... I guess they had a big that was crazy. The clips i saw of it..

no one did more than a straight air on the hip-1/4 pipe they had, it was so big.

Slopestyle. It has all the aspects of parki skiing and the bottom booter is often quivalent to the Big Air contests booter. It shows all around talent, and you can't get lucky because there are so many different hits.

I think that they both have good parts. in slopestyle you have to have your stuff together and have the total package. in big air you have to be able to throw one hugh trick with a ton of style to win. but i would like to watch or enter slopestyle any day over big air

Is it cheating if the girl is from another country?

Some one please help !!!

They should set up Backcountry Slopestyle comps with fat booters and cliffs and rails all mixed in together. That would be sick.

Big air to 1/4 pipes are dope

Slopestyle is cool, but the judging in it can be really fucked up and lopesided.

line69- yah! damn, i never thought of putting a cliff into a slopestyle course. that is def a sweet idea. it could be like a reg slopestyle course but in the middle is a cliff and then a tree slider or someting. that would be awesome!

A cliff wound be fair in a slopestyle coures because only a the first few would get nice hits aftter that you'd be landing in other peoples bomb holes and that sucks,

and by the way, there are comps like that, but it's called freeskiing....

'I'm still Ugly'

they have comps down big, steep mountains with nice big cliffs, powder, no man made jumps or rails, pitty

I prefer big air because I personally was never a fain of rails (whether on skis or in-lines).

why would you combine SS and Big Mountain...cliffs have nothing whatsoever to do with slopestyle

how bout a big air slopestyle, like the grail at mt snow last year....sick stuff.

If your attack is going well, then it's an ambush..

I think slopestyle tells you alot more about the skier. Anyone can huck one big trick, but half these little groms can't actually ski ie. turn and stop.....and slopestyle forces you to actually think alittle bit and really ski a linerather than just huck yo meat.

I had sunny side up und I had sunny side down, und I had sunny all sie vay around! - Rudi Garmisch-hot dog the movie

fine then, make everyone ski a bump line down to the bigair jump..then everyone will be happy because they can see if the person throwing a switch 10 can really ski or not...who fuckin cares if they can ski or not...i bet they wouldn't enter a slopestyle comp either if they knew they couldn't ski, so what are you guys worried about?

slopestyle is the shit, but i real hot comp would be like 2 rails, 2 big air jumps, and at the end of the run a big qp. that kinda mixes slopestyle and big air.

there is def a place for both, the harder tricks in the big air all end up in the slopestyle later but its good to get a preview of what can be done.

Anyone can throw big tricks? I think not.

Takes balls and lots of practice to get it down, then you only have one or two chances to land it. And the only way to win is by adding style on top of that.

I like big air stuff, and it lets people show what they are made of in one jump.

But it doesn't showcase all your skills like slopestyle.

Maybe big-air comps should be bigger, I liked that idea about hitting the nordic long jumps where they go out 100 yards, or modifying aerial jumps.

Imagine a SLOW cork 1260 with a grab.

Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Ski.

they should make a course dedicated to candide with massive 150 foot hip/tables, big rails, one huge quarter pipe and insane gaps. I would pay $1000 dollars to see him do that. it would be crazy.

sacrifice, to some its just a word, to others it is a code, what matters is the colony, he is willing to live for the colony, fight for the colony, die for the colony.

probably slopestyle because it gives you more of a chance to flow, it also shows you can do more then just huck a huge trick off of a huge jump. and slopesytle is more fun. you get the best of both worlds, air and rails.

Slopestyle for sure. It encompasses way more skiing, and shows true talent being able to stick 6 or 7 rails/jumps in a row.

A sick slopestyle course would have a jump big enough at the bottom to throw down some crazy jumps, so there's your big air. Also having a 1/4 pipe to finish it off is sick.

hehe, i like that idea, a slopestyle course with 120 foot tables and 50 foot straight rails

THE SPRINKLER: get butt naked and then do a 1260 while taking a piss, i expect this trick to win many comps this coming season.

Colarodo flats has a great point about the moguls to tabletop,

nobody cares if they can't ski,

and anybody could ride between the hits in a slopestyle course, anywyas,

But, its a bit easier to have a big air event in a city, town etc so a big crowd can get there easier gaing more exposier for skiers, more ticket sales, more money for the skiers. Im not saying its better than slopestyle but there is def a place for it

slopestyle all the way because it incorporates all aspects of newschool skiing all they need to do is put a huge 1/4 pipe in the finish after the showtime booter, that would be sick. and whoever said backcountry slopestyle, i'm sure we all saw Mike D do it in happy Dayz so don't try to pawn it off as your idea, even though its a sick thought

Don't drink and park, accidents cause people.

BC slopestyle *could* work, but it would be entirely up to Mother Nature, since once you start to 'bild' a BC course, it kinda looses the BC appeal.

Anyway, I ride 190's... not exactly the best SS ski (I don't want to think about trying rails on my Dragons)

their is a bc slopstyle in NZ every year, it used to be called the Ripcurl helli challange but its called something different now
