Slopestyle or Pipe. What are you more amped to watch this year?

Pipe skiing is seeing some crazy progression at the moment with the variety of doubles and other huge tricks that so many pro skiers seem to have locked down. For some reason a dub in the pipe is so much more awe inspiring than on a kicker.
Slopestyle on the other hand, for me personally is a bit dull. We are aware of most of the tricks that skiers have in their arsenal at the moment and I think the results are relatively predictable.
I cannot wait for X games, especially the pipe comp. Anyone of about 8 guys has the skills to take it on the night. Slope will be awesome as always, but for me has lost some of it's appeal. It's weird, because up until now, I've always considered Pipe to be the less exciting comp.
What discipline are you going to be watching with more anticipation, and why?

slope. Love seeing inverts onto and off rails. Watching clean floating 9's 10's 12's over gaps'n shit is just sick.

Don't mean to take anything away from pipe. Mad skills in there too.

I've always been a big fan of slopestyle. While I really enjoy riding the pipe, and the tricks the pros are doing these days in the old stunt ditch are very impressive it's just not the same. I guess it's because of the air time. Sure, doubles and 1260's and everything in between are awesome, but it all seams so rushed and almost chaotic while jumps allow for a bit more air time for the riders to get that little bit of extra style in. Or at least the potential of more style.

that being said, I'm over the rail game on skis and watching a skier hit a park rail just doesn't do anything for me anymore.

word half pipe is one thing slope style is better demo of skill and way better to watch if i was actually at the place i might like pipe though cause you could see all

meh, seems like everyone's doing the same shit. dew tour wasn't that exciting despite the obvious increase of craziness.

i personally am more exited for my own progression. its great to watch pros throw down, but i'd still boring, i'd rather be out filming myself and going big then watching someone else do it.

slope

i don't find it really repetitive like pipe skiing. I mean, in slope, the set-up is always different but not a lot, but at least it's better than pipe. I like pipe too, but i'm more into slopestyle.

pipe, especially run theres a super nice/clean run like what riddle and jossi through down. for me i reckon pipe shows more skill because theres really no time to recover and you have to be at your best.

Yeah I think pipe shows more skill, but the question is which one Im more amped to watch, and Id definitely have to say slope. The format of pipe just seems more formal, and as weird as it sounds, more like a jockish sport, I guess. I just enjoy watching the flow of slope a lot more.

PIPE no question. Last year was a crazy year for slopestyle. This year pipe skiing is going to get ridiculous. Tanners out, does that make Simon the official king? I don't think so, it's anyones fucking game now.
