A couple of things about the Competition:

- All riders need to fill out a liability form. You can download/print it HERE.

- We’re effing serious about the costumes. There will be sick prizes for best costume, worst costume, and much more. We just trying to have a goood time.

- Likely layout for the competition: 1) Big Step-down; 2) Lippy-Ass Table Top; 3) 20 ft. Rainbow Box OR 45 ft. Battleship Box; 4) 20 ft. C-Box OR 20 ft. Inverted Rainbow Box OR 20 ft. Flat Box. Whew!

- More info to come this week!

Also All three parks have tables now!! Even the begginer park has a big table thats really fun. The chair 5 park is still being worked on but it does have a table and will continue to progess after they finish up the compition this weekend on southcentrel ( all the cat times goin to that park so you guys have a sick setup for the comp) any ways word is the upper stepdown is quite large!! Dont have any pics of the upper step down yet but its sick!!

Yep. That's a big, lofty ass backflip if I ever saw one. Which I have... I actually saw that very one... through the camera. Here's how he landed:

By the way... Inverted Aerials are NOT allowed in LT's parks. Only that kid is allowed to do them, cause he's the isht.

That particular table-top lives in LT's bunny park. If you want to hit it this weekend, while taking a break from Rail Series Part One, make sure to carry speed into the park. You won't clear it if you stop at the top.

Hope to see everybody out in force this weekend for Hallowuary (Halloween In January - da fuckin theme of da comp), in costume none the less. Me? Oh, I'm going to be a Bumble Bee. Busily buzzing back and forth, looking for that sweet, sweet nectar.

Anybody else got their costume planned?

what is this ice you speak of?? we sometimes get the soft pack. but no ice.

More info

The freaks will be out for the first installment of this year’s Rail Series. If you’ve been to one of our competitions before, then you should pretty much know what to expect: good times, loud music, clean features and outstanding prizes. This weekend’s competition will be a slopestyle format, with competitors making solo runs in multiple heats.

- All competitors must register at the mountain by noon on the day of the competition. Registration will be from 9:30 - 12:00 at the lodge. The early entry fee is $5, or $10 the day of.

- All competitors must fill out a liability waiver. If you are under 18, you must get a guardian’s signature. You can download the form here, or pick one up at the Ski School.

- Registered competitors will meet at the top of the South Central park at 12:45 for a rider meeting. The competition will begin at 1 pm and winners will be announced between 3:00 and 3:30 pm.

- Riders will be divided into skier/boarder, men/women, and 17-/18+/30+ catagories. - Sponsors for this comp include: Edge of the World, Gull Ski, Backcountry Racks, The Bitterroot Brewery and Vestal watches.

- We’re effing serious about the costumes. There will be sick prizes for best costume, worst costume, and much more. We just trying to have a goood time.

More of a step-down than a table. I didn't make it up today (real job and shit), but Andy said Justin was pushing up a storm on the landing. And Schulz pushed the table a couple of feet higher. Plus they got the 45 ft. up-flat-down in place. I'll be there all day tomorrow... should have LTPark.com updated with photos of all the competition features tomorrow evening.

I think people will be impressed with the park. The new step-down we built tonight is HUGE. Go as big as you'd like, the landing just goes...
