Slopestyle comp - Red Mountain - March 10th

isn't that the same as how they judge all slopestyle events? maybe ive just been in the freeski comp world for too long.
 
yes and no... the option to skip the jumps all together to hit the rails instead may complicate things. Especially because the three best rail set ups are beside the jumps.

All I know is that I don't want to be a judge.
 
I was up at red the whole weekend and saw or heard nothing about this, must just be shitty advertising
 
not in town right now, but on Sunday I was viewing the park from the base and it's looking like the park is looking pretty good (for Red)... may actually be a fun time to compete.
 
So, they moved the competition to Sunday, and on par with the awesome marketing at Red Mountain, they forgot to say anything about it.

 
I think it's a sign of bad marketing when the first thing I think of is 'since when is there a slopestyle comp at Red this weekend?' Haven't made it out to Red yet this season, really need to make a trip.
