Slopestyle comp in Montana June 20th

Would anybody compete in a slope style comp on the Beartooth Pass, near Red Lodge, Montana. The comp would feature rails,tabletop to a 1/4 pipe. Red Bull will sponsor it if there is some interest. There would be pro and amatuer division and girlz. Cash prizes and swag. It would be June 20th

 
fuck yea i would be interested in that. im going to all star ski camp june 1-6 er whatever but yea, count me down as someone. let me know more as it unfolds..

is the resort going to be open or are you just having a comp? i might be out that way in june, i'm moving to bozeman.

sounds like its gonna go off. i'll def spread the word around missoula while i'm still living here...

 
This comp is happening. Red Bull, Da Kine are sponsors. the event will take place saterday june 21st. A slopestyle jam format. best two of three runs. terrain will be rails with booter option, table top to 1/4 pipe to finish.

 
could we get directions to it or is it part of the resort?

also, would one have to hike for their runs? cause I'm too lazy and out of shape to hike

no, i dont know exactly where it is, but i konw it is about 15-20 minutes outside of red lodge. you go through town and go up the pass throught the mountains.

 
No hiking. there is two poma lifts and a surface tow. Directions are simple. When you get to Red Lodge, head west out of town towards Yellowstone, you'll go up this insane mountain pass, then you'll go through the state line into Wyoming were the deer and the antelope jib. A little ways past that is the ski area, you'll notice it by seeing a lift tower and shack. You drive to the top of this area. You can walk to the edge and look down on the area, Much like looking down on the camps on blackcomb, bc.

When is the closing date for Red Lodge? I really want to take a trip out there but am not sure if it'll be closed.
