And chill because publicity is great for a declining industry wether you want to accept that or not. Dope comp skiing and dope film segments, both awesome in their own element. Comp skiing produces progression, which you may say you hate, but tell me you weren't stoked to see Tanner or CR on the X games podium as a kid. This is just a bigger podium and hopefully it will influence kids to want to freestyle ski.....and maybe you don't even like that, but the day your local mountain closes due to the doubling effect of winters being shorter and local mountains not getting enough business then maybe your mind set will change. Don't think i'm not down with the edit scene, i ski vermont, fish-eye lens and early 2000's beats for days

I really don't understand how anyone can think that a pro skier is 'in it for the money'. Every skier skis because the love skiing and if they can make a little money when they are in the prime of their careers through comp skiing so they can do what they love for the rest of their lives then why not. Who says Bobby and Nick wont make the sickest film segments later in there careers. Do you not remember Tanner, C.R. or Shane McConkey ever competing?
