yay for vegatate!!!

it would be wise to use the lower jumps for the slopestyle. the upper section isnt even fun worthy
 
maybe the'll change it around, the jumps sucked as of last weekend, you could barely get switch 3s around.
 
is that why they changed the date from the 11th to the 12th? I knew it was on the 11th and just didn't register that it had changed... it was SUPPOSED to be the same day...
 
a whole group of us are going to be at the slopestyle on saturday from schweitzer. it wil lhopefully be fun!!
 
its on sunday silly! and I think I will be there, hopefully Spong and Coby take the day off so I have a chance at victory!!!
 
those jumps... theyre like 10-15ft, if that. i dont understand how they would want a slopestyle on that.

then again, i dont understand why the park is mediocre with a shitload of snow
 
the reason why were doing it at the upper section is because you can have more stuff to hit and still beable to judge it from one spot. i know how you guys feel if i had it my way it would be waterfall then the lower rail garden
 
does anyone know the detailed times on when registration is, what time the comp starts, and when the awards are?
 
yeah, im sure they make you wear a helmet, though it's near impossible to get hurt on anything in the upper section. and kori, check the website: stevenspass.com for details or email matt gormley and ask him (his email's in the park section of steven's site)
 
Riders/Skiers compete in a slope style in the upper section of the Top Flight Terrain Park.

Riders get 2 runs apiece, highest scoring run counts.

Register Saturday morning from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM next to T-BarMarket in the Granite Peaks Lodge. Entry fee is $10.00. All riders must have a lift ticket or season pass to participate.

Awards will be at 4 pm outside T-Bar Market on the plaza.
 
oh im not kidding. im dead serious. first place will be a ride snowboards sweatshirt.

you still gonna do it? cuz that is fucking laaame. if the snow is good, i mite just hit pow pow. i gots a beacon now too...
 
the jump line at the top of the park has totally changed. the lips are like 70 degrees they pop you huge in the air and the landings are super steep plus the second table after waterfall it super big now with lots of pop and sweet landing also third table is super sweet
 
i should be at this depending on how the x-rays on my hip turn out, lets hope it's not broken, if not i'll just take a bunch of advil and do it.
 
not broken, so pobably going up, it's going to be wierd using my old 1260s, they're the only ski i have right now, and they're short, 164s.
 
that's why you drink your milk, so you can eat shit on the icebergs known as quarter pipes and not be put in a cast.
 
i shall be in attendence barring any setbacks: mother (enemy #1), the tolo dance(could be a late night), or futher injuring myself.
 
the park is fun. waterfall looked better but i didnt have speed for any jumps. the new boxes are cool too.
 
So for real though does anyone know what we win? Are there gonna be any other girls doing this one??? CHRISTINE???? DO IT. We both have fucked up knees it will be fun!!!

but the park blows (the three larger jumps arent too too bad, but they could be (and have been) much beeter

how can you have a slopestyle on a section that blows so much?
 
grant speaks the truth. if they have the slopestyle on the upper section of the park, i will not be wasting my time hitting those when the the waterfall and 2 jumps after are much better
