Slopestyle anouncers...

I know there's already been a bunch of threads on this topic but it just makes me so mad.

I think it was andreas starting his run where he threw a 270 on and came off switch. the anouncers said " o i think he was trying to do a pretzel but he couldn't get it around "

i mean come on that's a pretzel buddy...the X games should get some actual skiers to do their announcing so i don't have the TV on mute while i'm watching it

he was tryin to 270 off and im not sure that just coming off switch counts as a pretzel i mean its almost easier to come off switch then regular

I thought it was ok, but I didnt like how they tried to find fault in their runs. Like for gagnier they kept bagging on him cause he messed up his first rail and then for olson they said he messed up because he took the first rails too easily

im pretty sure mike did a pretty good job announcing..but i have to agree with you ^..they focused a lot on what they could have done better and not what they did..but thats announcing..

the only thing that made me mad was when they said he did a change up...this isn't baseball..its called a switch up

a pretzel is a 2 on reverse 2 out. so u spin on one way and spin the opposite out (2 on blind 2 out). u could see him try and spin out but he couldnt quite turn his shoulders so he just landed switch. but i am pretty sure the announcer said a kangaroo flip was a double lincoln loop to fakie which is sort of true, but it is more of a double flat spin top fakie (flat 3 to flat 5) becuase he doesnt go completely inverted). but luke van valin is from idaho and hes tyte

someone bring douglas's interview back, he knows whats goin on but espn makes him explain it in a different way so that the retards who dont understand skiing can follow along

and whoever said douglas isnt a skiier, i dont even know what to say to that, you have no idea whats goin on

a pretzel is just spinning the opposite way on and out, it doesnt matter if its a 2 on 2 out, or 4 on 2 out, just spining on and turning the opposite way out. the funny thing i though i heard was one of the announcers saying, this is the first competition Jon has thrown the kangaroo, he learned it this summer on the water ramps i was like hello JOI anyone

?

these guys have been retarded for years and they still are. t rice just cab 3ed and they call it regular. they he frontside sevened and they called it a switch bs five. they always get things wrong. and during one of the skiers runs they just totally forgot that his switch 630 disaster on was switch.

they were so negative towards the riders.

other times I heard things like when someone popped outa their bindings they said

"his shoe fell off"

I mean thats not even like a "freeski" term, a fukin idiot knows that the guys whereing a boot and ski not a fucking shoe

And on snowboard slopestyle they kept saying "looks like hes jumping on from the scary side"

and they ddnt even mention that whoever it was threw a bio which was different then everyone else

and they dnt replay the right stuff, and keep showing the technical drawings before every reply

it did look like he hopped to kinda spin off but then hesitated and ended up just coming off switch, i think that is why they said it looked like he was going to pretzel out.

announcers saying that switch-ups are "change-ups" really bugged me and also callin kangaroo flip double rodeo when its a double lincoln loop 180

they totally didn't explain/account for teh difficulty difference from hitting a rail to a box....jon "took it easy" doign a270 on the down rail, but it was a fucking rail not a goddamn ft wide box
