Slope Style @ Snowplanet

yeah i went and competed... heaps of good skiers and boarders were there. Skiers were: Brad Prosser, Matt Field (who had a profile in NZ skier's last issue), Scotty Staples, Mauricio, Mark von Roy (me), and some random dude doin iron cross backflips.

The jump was descent size the rails were average. Had super fun during warm ups landing some cool cork 5s and getting my cork 3 lead hand safetys down..... I started feeling real tired during the actually comp and fell over all the time which sucked. snowboarders got 1,2,3, Brad and scot tied 4th. The reason boarders won was because it was rider judged, but the boarders did kick serious ass, they were fucking sick.... Both Scotty and Brad were throwing cork 7s, Brad Almost landed a cork 9....

So all in all it was a pretty sick comp...

Had they changed the setup so that the last box was after the booter?

yea the bottom rail was at the base of the learner slope, and the top rail was (and still is) rite at the top and is on a much steper down angle now.

And the table top is still the same as it was for the comp,

yea i went this morning. The new setup is much cooler. Except they've put the flat box back next to the booter but no in line with the flat bar, so its kinda hard to do a rail run there now. Plus that super wide butter box sorta thing has evaporated. The booter is MUCH cooler now though
