*Slope style at stevens:Whos Going?*

Hey,

I wana get a list going of who is going to be at the slope style at stevens pass on saturday january 20th. If enough people are going I might be able to get a canopy/tent up and stuff, it could be alot of fun!

set that shit up, the people who aren't at the open will come, and maybe you could convince stevens to give better prizes then a ride snowboards sweatshirt at a ski comp.
 
anyone know what part of course its on or what features or anything. i imagine up top but hopefully they put some rails up there.
 
Yeah the last couple years they did the top line (with a choice of hitting the bigger line or smaller line) then last year I remember they put a tiny rail in after the third jump, then there was the hip, then you could hit the trap box, then the kinked box. I dont know if they'll move anything for this saturday, but i think they should.
 
nah they are putting it in the base area. they are building something up like they did for hte helly hansen shop battle last year. i dunno setup
 
I was at Stevens but I didn't watch much of the comp, a lot of people sucked but some were alright. Couple boarders did misty's and rodeos but most didn't land them. I only saw a few skiers, they did 3's, 5's and 7's but nothing off axis. I was too busy skiing to watch much, double diamond had like 2 feet of fresh and there was nobody there. I rode up with some kids that knew Schoening (sp?) but they weren't on ns. The snow was great yesterday though.
 
organized worse than anything ive seen, at least for skiers, nobody knew when they were supposed to go, the lists were all fucked up and not in the right order. didnt really matter cause it was a good powday and the course was shitty anyways. they should ahve just had it off the waterfall or something. but waste of time/money.
 
i didnt end up entering because i got up there too late...BUT what i saw looked horrible and glad i didnt enter
 
yeah that was the gayest thing ever

the placing got screwed up and no one got anything out of it realy.

lame. I really am pissed at the stevens staff now.

BTW, there wasn't a ns gathering cause Mr "i'm god of stevens pass and this is a snowboarding comp" didn't want me to.
