Let's say theoretically I want to get the MOST SLIPPERY skis possible. Like super low friction. Obviously they would suck to ride on but what would do the best job? Straight up lube, good wax who knows?

That's always depending on the snow conditions.

Rubbing on won't last long, and always should buff in well with a cork etc.

Dominator makes some awesome rub on waxes, but any wax can be rubbed on. Hard waxes will be a super bitch though.
