Sliding opposite

I also would like an opinion. If I spin left and ride right foot forward regular, and I want to learn switch on should I go left foot forward or right? I feel spinning left onto the rail would be easier but I don't know about riding unnatty. Like, would you even notice it?

You will get used to it, I am the same way. Switch on spinning left sliding right foot forward (my unnatural side). Progression comes quickly with fs and bs spins and swaps!

I slide rails naturally right foot forward but I skateboard regular (left foot forward). To learn how to slide unnatural I visualized myself running and jumping onto a skateboard.

learned it this year because sw tail butter to the right and slide to the left :/its scary at first but not so bad after a couple trys

Whenever I am hiking my rail I do one hit natural and one hit unnatural, Its like if you play a sport working on your off hand/foot. I spin naturally to the left so for me a front swap is most comfortable if I start unnatural then swap to natural. Hope this helps
