Sliding a rail on fire

i had the idea that i saw in a ski movie. (high society) i want to sneak some gas up the hill in a pop bottle then dump it on a rail lit it and slide it. what do you think. i just dont wanna fall. im afraid it will heat up and ill stick to it

 
don't use gas if you are going to do it. Use rubbing alcohol. And when most people do it they put on some fire retardant
 
the keystone barbaque rail actually has propane that flows through it for that purpose. i dont think they just dump gas on it and light it.
 
first, how do you sneak gas onto a ski hill? after you manage that how do you start a fire with out someone being like "THAT RAIL IS ON FIRE!!!"? this is gonna be a failed operation.
 
ummm nto hard dude u bring it up in a flask or water bottle then get someone to light it just befor u do it then u got er done
 
good luck with gasoline, it doesnt burn as easily as the movies make you think they do.

def use alcohol, itll burn easier and itll all evaporate quickly so if you do decide to actually do this you wont light the rest of the rail on fire... and make sure you get the hell outta there quickly because theyll call the cops on you at most mountains for a stunt like that
 
At the early season rail jam at Sugarbush they justed pour Lighter Fluid on it and the box lit up- it was sic! JUST dont fall!!!
 
gasoline. seriously.

think this through. WD40 or like vodka yeah, but waht are you serious? gasoline. you make napalm out of it. its entire purpose is to explode.
 
that small of an amount of gasoline would evaporate so fast. it would have to bve like a mision impossible style operation
 
gasoline is very explosive so it will burn up very quick. If you have access to diesel its a bit harder to light but once it gets going it burns for a good while. One note is dont fall on the rail, you will get set on fire for sure
 
haha imagine what the ski patrol would say if you like skied up to them and you were on fire, but they DIDNT know about the rail

and when you slide it they put fire repellent on you..so ya whoever made this thread you will probably end up iwth bad burns...and ur a fucking dumabss
 
this is what you do, fill up a bottle with gasoline from the station

put it on you rail, and then wave the bottle everywhere

then light a match
 
1) Fire Repellent is a good thing to have

2) If you do eat shit... you're on a mountain of snow. Roll around a bit
