sleeping while skiing

Has anyone heard of this illness where a person just faints into a sleep. Well a friend of mine has this illness and sometimes when he's jumping in the air, he falls asleep and falls like crazy.

Its pretty scary to watch, but it dosnt keep him from stop skiing, which is pretty sick.

 
thats like on that movie when the guy is a whore and gos with all the chicks and one falls asleep on him 24-7 funny stuff kinda sucks for him cuz he prolly hurts him self huge all the time .. does he wake up when he takes the carsh or is he still asleep when you go to chek him out ?

hahahahh, that has got to suck. although i like REM sleep, it's good stuff. just not while skiing.

how does he stay awake? keg stand on a red bull truck?
