Sledding question...

to all you lucky bastards with sleds:

when you go sledding, how do you get your sled to be at the bottom of the run? do you leave it there then get on a buddies sled? do you let it run down?

i just saw a segment in yearbook where the dude just lets it ride down, is it that simple?

with my luck i'd let my sled ride down like that and it'd go off a cliff.

you can ghost your sled back to the bottom if the hill is super mellow, but if its all steep and gnarly its not a good idea. Usually you can just tow up behind your friend, or ride tandom to the top and then one person can ride down and the other person can take the sled

hi, my name is bill fleming. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candle light dinners, romantic bedside novels, and the works of Kenny G

^ ya thats a pretty good idea. id just have someone ride it down.

how about a jib for the mentally unstable aswell. maybe a picture of a kid with down syndrome on a box - anathema

id never ghost my either of my sleds down a hill cuz they hit trees and shit like that with my luck just get some one to drive for u

My pokemon brings all the nerds to the yard. And they're like, "You wanna trade cards?" Damn right, I wanna trade cards. I'll trade this, but not my charizard.

^^ once u get a real sled you stop talking to your skiing friends and forget about skiing...a deep pow day on a long track monster is way more fun than skiing....sorry but its true, ask anyone who sleds often....nothing like surfing bottomless pow on a 900 rmk...just make sure that you have a strong back

i like riding in powder but i always get stuck and have to do a fucking ton of lifting/pulling. riding powder in the woods suck, but rippin up the road before the plow comes is sic

^ im lucky enough to be able to easily get above the tree line and roost off of cornices and natural features....right from my back yard

getting stuck sucks

yeah i ghostriding is the best option, then hike for more...BBBRRrraapPP!

work to live...not live to work.

work to ski...but only if you ski to work. The simple equation to skibumming 101

...i didnt do it

so you hope for the sled to stop when the terrain evens out?

No they dont, If I didnt have a summit I would have an RMK they are both dope mountain sleds.

Anything you can ghostride your sled down generally isnt worth it to ski down. You ride up tandem or tow someone up so one person skis and one person sleds.

dont pollute the environment! make your sled run on vegitable oil!

Where did you get your clothes, the toilet store?

Tow-ins work great. Get a $20 wakeboard rope from WallyWorld and you're set. Riding tandem is really tricky, but if you can pull it off in ski boots, more power to you. It's a hell of a lot harder than most people think to pull someone up gnar terrain. Sometimes it's just not possible.

thats fun but its mad hard to do if the driver sucks like any one who has ever drove for me does.

I like the torque that the rmks produce...my sled is a monster on hill climbs....I owned a 700cc REV ski-doo last season and it did not have anywhere near the same performance as my new rmk...the 159 track is definetly needed in the heavy tahoe pow....still sledding in MAY....brrraappppppp!!!

dam i stopped in the begining of april when there was like a patch of dirt every five feet brrrrrrrrraaaappppp

riding tandem is the only way, can be a pain in the ass in boots, but less getting stuck and less wear on the sled then towing

ahh, finally a post on snowmobiles. yeah we have a race team. the sled is a 1000cc polaris. it has 285 hp, and goes 4.60 seconds in 500 ft. at 115 mph. so much fun. then we have 6 trail sleds, and no i am not rich we are just sponsored by polaris.
