Sledding pretzel?!?

ok so heres the dealio... i am a proud owner of a mad river rocket. this is a sled that is very similar to knee boarding that is the most fun thing in the winter besides skiing. I am claiming here but im getting quite good and am working on learning 540's of booters and 270's on to rails. I recently learned FS switchups on a rail and other assorted tricks and think it would be epic if i was to do the first ever pretzel on a sled. The only problem is i need a new camera to document it so i would appreciate the vote for the GoPro HD contest (sled pretzel) so all of NS can witness the sledding pretzel!

the sled has 3 inch foam padding so the knees are ok!

So they brought knee boarding to the snow? Knee boarding is the worst thing I ever tried. It was pretty easy but after one jump my knees were hurting worse than the knees of a hooker on a troop train.

I guess go for it. A pretzel can't be hard if you already 2 on and you're allowed to spin out using your hands like that guy did.

Learn flips on them too while you're at it.
 
haha yeah you can try some preatty sweet stuff and since nobody sleds like this the sport has a long way to progress to the tricks are endless. My friends and i set up a 15 foot gap with a 60 gallon barrel in the middle and were 360 nose tapping it. possiblities are endless.

looks pretty fun but also rather just be on skis... i tried knee boarding but liked wake boarding so much better idk tho do whatever you think is fun
 
as far as i know the only place i can is Whaleback NH's jib park but that works! haha not only will i be using this to film the pretzel but i can also produce some sick edits of me and my friend who sleds as well! rate up!
 
dude i have a season pass their hahaha i wish i could but most mountains wont let you. I would love to rip it up there cause steve mull just did a 900 on one at whaleback but u need a big enough jump.

i want to try that. i probably have a bunch of shit in my shed that i could use to make a really ghetto setup

I would rather hit all that stuff on skis but the cork 7s were still super sick and I would forsure what to try one it just looks...silly.
 
style looks wack, but i hope you progress the sport (can it be called that yet?) i want to see someone air out of a quarter pipe and some flips... i have done a front on a sled before, wanted to get a backy for fun, but we dont have any snow this year.

this is pretty sick. maybe amputees can get into it as an alternative to skiing and snowboarding
 
so much better than seeing someone whip their arms around like an ape trying to do stuff on a rail or off a jump. helmet cam looks sick, i just think it will only look sick for a sled in pow
 
well for all you pow fans... i do enjoy shredding and so does my friend who prefers it over rails so there will be a mix of everything from pow shots with cam mounted on front of sled, to rails and jumps. so please take the time this week to vote and i promise there will be some sick edits to ensue
