monday a sled poached alta by coming up from heber and did several high marks on the east castle which has yet to open this season, all the patrollers could was watch as the biler rallied and disappeared back over the ridge

I hope it was worth it, it's jackass decisions like that that will negatively affect regulations for everyone else in the area. Not that I'm a big fan of snowmobilers, I'm just sick of hearing motorized users complain when areas get closed due to their negligence.

the funny thing is, they still havnt opened east castle. if a sled basically carving out a slab isnt gunaa set off a slide, than nothing is. OPEN THAT SHIT

You are very ignorant in snow science. Most things dont slide the first time someone on it. A good friend on mine died on a slope he watched people ski ALL day. just cause a sled took a couple runs at it doesnt mean shit.

NHsteeze I figure u r from the east coast (New Hampshire). I grew up on the east and migrated west...I really fear for people like u coming out here and getting into trouble. It is a different world out here. You have just enough knowledge to be dangerous. Please do yourself a favor and read up on avalanche awareness. There is a reason why that area is closed.
