Sky High Trampoline Warehouse

I live maybe 30 minutes away, so it works for me. If you're down around Bellevue, check it out for sure.
Their trampolines don't make it easy to get high, but it can definitely be boosted. I love their foam pit. It makes learning all types of doubles super easy.

If you actually read his post you would know that he is in bellingham...which is not in fact 'down around Bellevue'.

Thanks. If you read my post, you would see I did read the OP.. along with your post. "Down around" is usually interpreted as "in the area". I was suggesting that if he ever ventured into Seattle, say for a Sounders game, he should also stop by.

Metropolitan Gymnastics, on a weekday afternoon, is way better. Quality tramp, foam pit, and barely anyone there. Cheaper too for a longer session.

its fun but not oworth it from bellingham but the foam pit is there which is fun.

also i saw someone who skis up at snoqualmie when i was there once.

they have a regular tramp at floor level right next to the foam pit. officially you aren't supposed to go from the trampoline to the foam pit but you can usually get away with it

It was super fun to goto when it was new and before people knew about it...now all the foam is gnarly, there's probably blood and snot wiped all over the place and even in non-peak hours there's usually little kids running around everywhere. Not to mention that there's no bounce left in any of the tramps..
But if you go with some good homies, it can be fun for sure.

Everything here is true. Tramps lost so much life.. and the kids make me want to kill myself. But if you go at weird hours, you can have the whole place to yourself.
I went with friends on a hot saturday night, it was empty. I think 3 others learned doubles for the first time, I managed to get like 3 or 4 new variations.

You're not supposed to for good reason...I've seen more than a few kids absolutely wreck themselves trying to get away with it. Theres no need for the foam pit with that tramp. If you need the foam pit to do dubs, you probably shouldnt be doing dubs in the first place. Just be smart about that stuff

This...the trampolines get you high enough to throw pretty much anything you want to, but they're not actually training trampolines, so no, you can't grab the ceiling panes.. I spend most my time in the foam pit, just cause its suuuper fun and there is a smaller chance of taking out some little kid. I always have a blast when I go, but I live like 35 minutes away. I would not drive almost 3 hours for sky high.

i fucking love that place

I do suck at tramps, so if you are super good, then i guess you could go for the foam pit.

how much better are the metro tramps then the sky high tramps? I have been to sky high many times and the tramps dont have much bounce at all.

metro only has one tramp but it is much bouncier than the sky high tramps, you barely have to try to go high on it

Yep. It's a real gymnastics tramp, so it's got plenty of lift.

Be sure to call before you go, because the tramp was closed last time we checked and they said it would be about a month.

Ive got a buddy who went there and literally snapped his lower leg in half and ended up with his toes pointing backwards. Gnar.

dave at bigairandbups.com was doing some pretty cool stuff last time I heard. He's right up in the NW and has a snowflex jump to a airbag, like 3 euro tramps and some springfrees or something. Pretty cool guys, and euro tramps are way better than anything else.

Dave's a real good guy and definitely knows his shit as far as trampolines go. His newschool tricks aren't his strong point, but he's really really good at teaching you how to bounce safely and progress steadily. I used to coach for him like five years ago before he had a bad injury during a jump show that kind of shut things down for a few years, but it seems like he really has his shit together again.

I'd highly reccomend doing some dryland training with him. I think he's teaching out of PNW aerials right now, its a gymnastics place in kirkland.

I've never heard of this sky high place... do they have a website??

haha, I found it

Seriously....

going out on a limb here, but it needs to be said...
the guy who works at sky high who always wears a tiny 'shoestring' headband with a semi-afro and walks around like hes the shit....well, hes a douchebag. agreed?

Holy shit, i went there for the first time in over a year the other day, and I most certainly agree with you. Most unprofessional guy Ive ever met. Saying hes a douchebag is not even remotely going out on a limb.
