ive been riding line since my original pair of 193 black ostness dragons (haha hell, i was 5'2 at that point, such a fun ski though...i want the Auclair pro just for a LONG ass park ski again) and they did delam, alot of Lines first models delamed, but take into consideration J-Lev and his buddies were putting these together in a garage like setup...impressive that they produced skis in that environment, and mind lasted almost an entire season...plus they warranty'd them for me without hesitation...hard to do when your an upstart company
anyway back to the point...lines WILL delam, its a fact of life, but its not a problem EXCLUSIVE to line..1080s will delam, ive seen Armadas/K2's/insert name here delam. I worked at s shop for two years and EVERY model of ski we ever sold would eventually come back as a delam or other problem (not every pair, but at least one from every model) i never say MORE Lines then any other ski, everything was about average (except for the old Dynastar Concept, that thing seemed BULLETPROOF, we might have gotten one pair back , and it was definately USER ERROR)
this year line has improved their core for a nice stiff strong ride without the extra weight, a 60% thicker edge, and a thicker, more gouge resistent base. If you had an early pair of lines bust on you, give them another look, you will be suprised
Hibachi King drops 9/9/04...and it shouldnt suck! hah
