Last year was a blast and this year's set up will be even better!

I'd suppose Skjersaa's Team riders get in. how did the lottery work out last year? i don't remember who won that and how they ended up doing..
 
You would think team riders would get dibs. And I agree with DOS, winner Bruton should be in for sure, maybe the other finalists should get dibs after Bruton and the team.

Dan, Garret, and Johnny all killed it last year, and should all be invited back pending if there still living here or not.As far as the rest of the people, Derek Bruton is probably the best skiier on rails at bachelor now.. and that leaves 6 spots up for grabs still... no clue.
 
it's a tough call to make, considering that sometimes the "sure" top competitors don't actually do well and the underdog can have a really good night and end up placing and pleasing a crowd. Shop Riders tend to be more consistent but still aren't a guarantee.

It's quite a local event which promotes local skiers. however, there are kids that kill it from P-town that are willing to travel to compete. With the size and space allowed, more skiers couldn't really fit, and even if they did the talent level can really only drop. pretty much the most optimum local jibbers are what are sought after for this event. Local can mean Central Oregon, Oregon, or even the Pac NW.

When applying for the Cricket Rail Jam an online app was required along with sponsor info and competition results history. This still doesn't include the kid that has potential to kill but just hasn't been given the opportunity yet due to apps that require experience...

5 Skjersaa's Skiers, 1 Helly Hansen Skier (Dvo), and 4 applicants that show jibbing potential.
 
with all the interest, the 2pm registration is mandatory. you snooze you loose. if i can drive 35+ hours to jib 5 inches of snow in Nebraska, surely you kids can come anywhere from oregon and be at Skjersaa's at 2pm. 10 cans of quality food, not just the cheapest! the 10 spots will fill up quickly, sorry.
 
So does that mean its first come first serve? I'm definitely down to drive over from the valley but I would prefer to not just watch
 
i understand what he said, but what happens if were there before two, and its still already full? as spere said, skipping classes and driving all the way there to watch isnt what i had in mind
 
Word. If you're cutting out early and spending the money to go over to Bend only to find that you weren't there soon enough would suck major donkey dick.
 
well then get there earlier, if your skipping one why not all. Not trying to be a dick, but sometimes it works and sometimes you get hosed. So just get up early and get in gear.

It's a tough choice, but i skipped the whole day for the Cricket Jams in the valley. I left the night before just to make sure things worked out...and the next day my crew worked setting up the whole time. So if you boys are coming over the mountains, i hope you plan on helping. these jibs don't make themselves. That's half the fun anyways. And even if quality canned food costs more than cheap shit, it's still cheaper than most other comps. This is an event that benefits unfortunate people, lets actually give them healthy food.

Live Music By: "Tuck and Roll"....they were the band playing after the REASONS premiere in bend. To be honest, I'm nervous this is going to be a party that is going to get way out of control.
 
POSTPONED DUE TO LACK OF SNOW. WE WILL TRY THE FOLLOWING FRIDAY....keep checking for updates. sorry kids, i'm as bummed as you are. just consider this winter to be like McLuvin.....nothing for a long time, then you score with the hottest girl at school.
