on another note, I just got an email with the subject line 'she likes it on her face' it made me smile.
and on yet another note, I just got out of my archaeology class where we watched a video on chimpanzees and bonabos (spelling?)
Chimps are pretty nuts, I mean, I knew they were pretty brutal, but this one older male stole an infant from its mother, and as she was chasing him, he was beating her away with the infant, and the infant was getting all banged up by branches and stuff, and then the male killed him by biting him in the face. Then the males all ate him.
Bonabos, however, which are VERY similar to chimps, and in fact much more closely related to us than chimps, are quite the opposite. Instead of fighting over disputes, they have sex. Males and females, males and males, females and females. Missionary, doggie style, him on top, her on top, sitting, standing, you name it. They know em all, haha. But seriously, they do it ALL the time. My professor said the video we watched was a 'sanitized' version, meaning that sex is pretty much all they do. Haha, then she said something about the males rubbing their scrotums together, for the fun of it. It was pretty funny.
Also, in bonabo society, the females dominate, rather than the males as in chimp society.
