Skis that work well in the park as well as in the pow.

I am currently looking for some new all mountain skis for this winter. My most recent skis are the Salomon Rocker 100 which worked pretty well in the park but also on other parts of the mountain. I would love some recommendations as there are plenty of options out there.

I have been looking at "The Vacation El Patron" from J skis but they are kind of expensive ($630) if anyone has any knowledge about these particular skis some feedback would be appreciated.

I ride the J skis vacations and they are the perfect pow / park ski in my opinion. I have them mounted 2cm back and I've skied everything from backcountry in Montana to park laps at hood on them. They are honestly my favorite ski I've ridden.

They are definitely buttery and playful which is good or bad depending on your style of skiing. I'm getting a pair of metals this season which are more damp and a bit stiffer which I think will be sick for all mountain and pow...and ill keep my vacations for park days. Two very similar skis..vacations are more jib oriented..metals more all mtn.

^^ Above is good advice, also look into The Friend. It's fatter than the Vacation and it's not super snappy and has more swing weight. Really fun inside and out of the park, it's the only ski I own.

Bentchetler 100's (tested it last year and is a sweet ski. K2 Poacher, Line Blend, SFB, Armada ARV 98. Really just choose one based on what stiffness you like, think about what you felt with the Rocker2's. I wouldn't go up to a 106 waist ski unless you see yourself riding more pow/ charging vs. park. The vacations also would be a prime choice.

The j skis allplay is a good option if you want to do laps in the park and on the groomers. They work well in powder to a limit, it all depends on how much snow you wanna ski in

Majesty Vandal's were great for a foot of snow or less. My Libtec UFO 100's are really good all around. Super light so they are great in the park, and a good amount of tip rocker lets them float nicely.

Totally depends on where you’re skiing and how much snow you actually get, but the vishnu wides are a goood ass time into like knee deep snow. They definitely arent the ski for hard charging (they can be if ya nasty) but damn are they fun
