skis skis skis shit

Nice problem to have dude... but you know you're just gonna get a bunch of posts telling you to buy whatever the poster skis, right?

i havent skied on any of em but my bro has pes and he loves um but i would say wait for pepe bec they are cheap and are probably great skis. So since u save a lot of money compared to armadas you can buy other shit like jackets, pants, etc.

Are some skiers trying to copy snowboarding?

Tanner: There\'s a small group of people that are doing that, but I think for the most part, there are a bunch of Rollerbladers and skiboarders that are being gay.

Bonfire's cool... what is it, 10,000 mm? They used to have that wierd stitching thing where theres no seam on the shoulder so it didn't leak. But Giro...meh. never liked em.

^ lmfao i wouldve collapsed laughing. Mostly cause I've done that too with no helmet... it was a train wreck. Yeah I like full head helmets too, put a skull cap under there and its all toasty, or stick headphones in for tunes and they dont fall out... its all good. Giro 9nine looks kinda cool, didn't seem too cushy to me when i tried it on.

why do people ask for help on deciding what skis to get on here? We have no idea what kind of riding you do, all we can do is argue over which one we think looks coolest.

personally if i were in your situation i would go with PE's. i find the scratches too soft, and armada's, there is a slighty durability issue...

OK, so for the most part everyone here does a lap or two in the park, right? So its safe to say he needs a park ski, and if money is not an option go with the armadas. The fujatives are sweet, but there is a reason they are cheap. They look and feel really cheap, and the graphics suck anal excrement. So there.

yea but then u go into the debate about how so many ppl have bought armadas and say they are shit and break really easy.

There are tons of twin tips out there. Try to look beyond marketting, advertising and what pro riders ride on what. Just because Armada or Public enemy's are cool doesn't mean that they're a good ski. Forget that, it doesn't mean it's a good ski for you. I ride for Atomic but I would never recommend the tweak to a guy who is 6'1 and 250 lbs. Every si is designed to be ridden in different ways by riders with different styles. Some like a snapier ski, some like on to be more solid. All I'm saying is think about what kinds of turns you make, how you like a ski to behave, not just what the top sheet looks like.

yea it depends on what stuff you ski and where you ski. if your a park rat get the fujatives but if you ski both park and the rest of the mt than get tbe pe. ^^^^ but this cat is right about marketing and what skis are popular.

Thats the way I live my life: I grip it and I rip it.
