Skis on Tramp?

I want to take my skis on my tramp, how do you guys do it? Is a few layers of ducktape on the edges enough to avoid rips in the tramp?

yeah but skis can be over like 100cm or you cant do anything with them. I know it defeats the purpose but it will help you in finding grabs and haveing the weight on your feet

yea im thinking of trying this out with my realy old Line 150's....wat do u do to keep ur feet in? real boots and bindings?

what i do..... I got a shit load of old rental skis from the hill i worked at...all around 100-120cms...(im 6'3'') and used my ski boots and some bindings.....you prolly want to take the brake off the bindings, and just duct tape the hell out of the edges, just to be safe.....oh and I broke a pair of skis on that thing like everyday, so I dont recommend you use your 2006 armadas on it (or whatever you ride)

i agree with mski you cant really do much plus we broke my friends tramp after about 2 weeks of this it was very funny but had to suck for him. he wasnt home at the time so he doesnt know it was us haha

 
o yeah by the way of u want to do this i suggest cement skiing or grass skiing if u have the room and an old pair of skis very fun!!

 
just take the soles out of some old shoes, take a 4' piece of 2x4's and then screw, (don't nail, they'll come out) the shoes to the 2x4's where you're bindings would be. Then put the insoles back in, so the screws don't hurt your feet. there you go, instant skis. (they look uber cool too) (you can paint them if you like, but they look cool if you just have shoes that appear to be sitting on top of plain 2x4's. no duct tape or anything)

what me and my freind did was got one of those plastic snowboards and cut it in half and sanded it so it was smooth. Then we duct taped sandles to them. it wasnt much like skis but it was way diffferent than not having nething.
