I'm 90 lbs, 5 foot 1, looking for sandwich/sidewall construction, 75% park/pipe, 20% big mountain, 5% urbin'. ive been looking @ this years 4frnt STL, but i'm open to other suggestions. my skis from last year reach to under my lower lip now (dynastar troubled youth 138).... do i even need new skis? or can i pull off another year w/ my old ones? +karma for honest and legit answers...

its hard to find a ski that will do all those things well. You're gong to have to compromise somewhere...I'd suggest maybe the armada ar6s or the amplid antidogmas...or the moment reno jibs...I don't know if those skis come in a size small enough for you but I believe you're still growing and it just might be the year to step it up to a "real" ski.

STl's are dope and work all around. But check out the ar6, msp, the bluehouse mr. 164 is dope but i think that is way to big.

nordica spark is good

volkl leage

rosingol pro teen or what ever it is called this year

it sound like you will wont around a 150 you wont the ski to be about the same size as you rember with a twin tip you have less base contesting the snow the with a flat tail ski.

pm me if you need any more help

when i was in your situation, i skied on whatever they were called, rossi scratch pros... the kid's ones and i really liked them. they were like 03s or 04s (the aqua and purple graphics). i would highly recommend a ski similar to that for you if there is still one made. So, look for those from this year or last year if possible. good luck

ninthward butterlicous they have vertical sidewalls but look realll sick and would be pretty durable also medium flex great for wat u want to do i just got my pair for $150

bumps and powda.... but i just decided against the suspects... does anyone know how the swing weight is on the dumont?

well the problem is that the anthems dont come in a size small enough for me (i need like a 150 to a 155), otherwise i would definitely want those... im thinking either the salomon dumonts, or 4frnt tnks...

you should defs take a look at the AR6's

there sick in the park and they handle everything else pretty well

yeah the shortest ar6s would be good for you they will hold up on the stuff you want to do . The stls are good skis too. if you want to ski any real powder all these skis are gonna be hard to handle in pow.

what about a k2 extreme? iv had a rip on them back country and they were fun and theyr good in the park to! do they come in your size tho?

i can get a deal through my team on salomons, nordicas, lines and 4frnts, so those are going to be the only skis to chose from, and i have my mind set on the dumonts or the TNKs now, so if possible, just give me reasons why i should pick one over the other...

ok to start,
if your planning on growing at all this year then your gonna want a ski slightly bigger than your normal size.

the tnks will fit your 20 percent groomers and 10 percent all mountain and your 70 percent park and pipe
As written by Niklas Karlstrom - designer (Sweden):
I love the TNK. This is a ski I use for Park, Pipe, Groomers, Powder, Ice, you name it. It's got a really good turn radius which makes it perfect for carving of jumps or just cruising around groomers. Take it to the pipe and it'll blow your mind! The combination of sharp edges, stability, fast base, and pop is almost scary for boosting the pipe.

the tnks are cheaper.

its simon dumont's ski

its obviously the greatest thing ever created

its would be the bible if the bible could of been written on skis

but for srs i would buy the dumont over the TNK just cause ive rode salomons for along time and they have held out good, and rode well on everything
