im a midwest rider (very unfortunate i know), but i go out to utah alot, i was wondering what ski i should get. i need something that i can ski everything with park, pow, long groomers, u no all mountain pretty much, i was looking at the pocket rockets, public enemys, scratch bcs, pistols or trouble makers . which do u think is the best, or any others that i didnt list

i ride both pistols and public enemies...if you do more park, get the enemies, but more all mountain, get the pistols. the pistols are the shit in my opinion

Small, simple, safe price. Rise the wake and carry me with all of my regrets. This is not a small cut that scabs and dries and flakes and heals. And I am not afraid to die. I\'m not afraid to bleed and fuck and fight. I want the pain of payment. What\'s left but a section of pigmy-sized cuts. Much like a slew of a thousand unwanted fucks. Would you be my little cut? Would you be my thousand fucks? And make mark leaving space for the guilt to be liquid. To fill and spill over and under my thoughts. My sad, sorry, selfish craft of the cutter. I\'m cutting trying to picture your black broken heart. Love is not like anything, especially a fucking knife!

No way volkl gotama best ski around for everything. 88 under foot isnt to wide for on trail and 88 is just wide enough for powder. Great buy.

My dad still skis powder on old ass straight skis. They're like maybe 75mm or so. It doesnt matter a whole lot between 80-88 or whatever. As long as you have at least 80 yur not doing that bad. Basically the wider you go the more you can float at slower speeds. But since you're in the midwest (like I am {also unfortunatly}) then you should prolly go with the Public Enemies or 4rnt MSP's or Line chronics or something along those lines. Because you're gonna feel like an idiot when you take your pistols out in the midwest and you cant find any powder. I guess it all depends though how much you ski out west. I usually take 4 trips every year. Tottaling about 3-4 weeks. Otherwise im staying at Cascade mountain in portage Wisconsin. I tend to think that I ski alot out west compared to some in our area, but the widest ski I ever purchased was the Public Enemy. Its just not worth it unless you are out there all the time. I mean if you only go out there a few times a year you can rent some powder skis for a week or so. Thats just my opinion.

buying brand new skis and using them on rails is like buying a new car and driving into telephone poles.

Ski tips up!

If you have money to blow and you dont mind buying a ski you really dont need at your home mounatin then go 90mm in the waist.

after that think about what flex you want if you like a softer ski pistols are very nice.

sally prs light soft also

rossi bc havent skied them i think there in the middle.

then you can go stiff so it depends on what you like in a ski.

P.S. JAPAN HAS SICK POWDER

first off you thinking of the karma's not gotma, karma's are 88 under foot.

Im in the same postion, and i got 180 Liberty Stealths. 84mm under foot, i was looking at getting fujatives, but the stealths have a better all mountain flex, and ski everywhere better, and at 84mm i'l still be able to hit up the backcountry without a problem when i got out west, which is about 20 days of my year.

if rockets are anything like 1080's then don't get em, they suck on hardpack

Where you from? I live in Winona and plan on riding at welch a bit more now that they have a park supposedly. As far as skis go.. .

I have PE's and old school candides. The both are great for pretty good for us midwestern skiers going on an occasional trip the mtns. However, I like my PE's better as an all mountain ski. If you dont ski the mountians that much, you probably wont be doing crazy insane stuff anyways. I would get a ski that better suits your dominate riding style.
