the V-pros are like haveing dead fish on your feet in the slopes but the rossi B series are the sickest 'freeride' ski out there this year.

Old people on cool skis looks funny. Having said that, a good mogul/ all mountain ride would be the B2s or a pair of line mavericks. The lines kill it in the moguls.

i just showed him the darkside and the maverick and he likes both so i think hell probably get the carbon darkside. it should be fins for what he skis

i didnt liked the line mavericks at all. i havent tired the darksides, but they are supposed to be pretty good. the B2s are really good, and i think your dad would like them (from the info you have given us)

No these arent Darkdsides.

These are AK-ski and they are the Promountain model. The skis are brand new and never been mounted. Theyre not even out of the plastic yet. The dim are 110-71-100. Id sell them for 650.00 which is a screaming deal I believe they are going to be selling in the store for somewhere around 750-775.

You can check them out at akski-usa.com

If you want bindings I sell a pair of those as well.

Please let me know if youre interested.

you should look at some mogul skis before all mt. and park skis if he is goign to be skiing mostly moguls. i have heard good things about the scratch like someone has said. just look around at some local shops you will have to find somethign that your dad would like

A mogul ski is gonna be pretty bad anywhere outside of the moguls though, especially in any kind of deeper snow. They're too skinny.

^yeah i know but he would rather a bit more mogul performance. and i dont think hed be interested in the ak's, i found him a good deal on some darksides and thats what hes going for i think

I have some with wider dim but I cant budge on the price of those because theyre a little more expensive.

The dim on the 180 cm is 116-78-107 and on the 193 cm is 120-84-110 and both of those a plenty wide enough for the pow but can be used in the park or bumps or whereever you want to go with them.

i appriciate it but i got some darksides for 250cdn shipped so ill probably make it a christmas gift instead of him buy skis

^^ dude, you gotta teach him to ride switch. That'd be pretty tight ripping switch with your dad. He'll probably be able to pick it up quickly if he's as good as you say he is.

ya get your dad the darksides

that would be sick

but if money is not big deal get the b2's

and if he just wants a mogul ski, salomon makes some pretty sick ones.

I hooked my pops up with some pocket rockets, I'm deffinatly gonna have him going fakie before the season is done.

Darksides are sweet for groomers and even in some pow. Otherwise the New Line ski the fx7.3 are sweet on the groomers. But the Mavericks would be a great ski too.

Does your Dad really need a twin? Plus, if he rides a lot of moguls you don't want him to get a ski that is too wide underfoot. Where does your Dad normally ski, what type of conditions?

If he doesn't really need a twin, he might want to look into the K2 Axis XP (I know a lot of people who swear by this ski). Another good choice may be the Volkl 724 line, a couple good choices there, and the tails are moderatly turned up for the occasional switch skiing.

Believe it or not the Elan Mantis 777 is a sick ski 85mm underfoot, leaves you enough girth for pow. My dad is sporting a pair and loves them, and he was on old X-screams before.
