Skis for my dad!

OK my dad wants some new skis. He is 5'8, 140 pounds and an advanced resort skier. He doesn't want twin tips, he wants an "all mountain" ski.
He wants the best performance from the ski on black (diamond/double diamond) runs, which are often mogul runs. He currently owns Salomon x-screams from back in the day in a 169.
His prioties are:
1.Good performance in bumps
2.Good performance on piste carving
3.Decent off piste and in powder.
i would think something along the lines of the old Rossignol B1 or B2 maybe? But i dont know much about the newer ranges in that kind of line. Oh and please can nobody recommend any of the following: invaders, anthems, ep pros, hellbents, jjs or any of the other skis recommended when any ski thread pops up :p.. Thanks in advance for help.

My dad got the volkl tigersharks last year.

He loves them.

I took them for a few runs one day and have to say, they are a lot of fun. They fly down the hill, I felt like i was in a rocket ship. I actually made a thread about them last winter.

You can switch from soft to stiff setting on the ski. very legit.

ya dude, invaders would be perfect! just as we always say, they are the cheapest ski that is half way desent. because that is one of your dads options, and because he likes soft flex on a semetrical twin tip, it would be sick... or you could go with the ja love, which are SUPER similar to the ivaders

jk

I have a pair of 07' HEAD Monsters, and I love em'. I'd look at the new line of Monsters, iM 78's look pretty decent.

Volkl makes great skis too, my dad swears by them, and has, I believe, three pairs sitting in the basement. The Tigersharks look like quality skis, as SHastatahoe said.

Personally I'd look at anything the big brands have to offer, they usually have good products. I'd vouch for Atomic, Salomon, Head, Volkl, Dynastar and Rossignol.

Speaking of Rossignol, www.evogear.com has some 07' Bandits for pretty cheap, if you don't mind buying older skis, those are some quality boards.

id look at like dynastar legends (in whichever wdith he feels comfortable) head monsters, or tigersharks, and id look at the 12 foot powerswitch, as thats the best of the lineup,

if it werent for the moguls i would suggest gotamas mebbe. but yeah any of the legend skis.

K2 recons or outlaws are a killer all round ski. um the new volkl AC 50 is another way legit all mountain ski it comes with the same marker binding as the jester and the griffon but as a system set up on the ski. umm.. the nordica hot rod nitrous ski is another wicked all mountain ski its constructed like a race ski. its a sidewall construction and has a sheet of metal on it its pretty legit or you could go up to the speedmachine line in the nordicas they are also a killer all mountain ski thats what my dad is on he comes from a racer background. umm if you go to a flat ski the scott missions are pretty good. ummm also this years nordica enforcers are a pretty good all mtn ski its a flat ski and not a twin. umm if ya wanna kno any others just holla. haha

don't let your dad get away from twin tips just becase he thinks he dosen't like "twin tips" I converted my dad over to the Armada ARV and he loves it, softest, shortest ski he has ever been on and I don't think he will ever go back that is the ski for him, try out the ARV, great flex, not so stiff that you have to work it all day but be able to have fun, and at his age he needs an easier ski like that, if he is really staying away from the scary "twin tip" try out 4FRNT's new pique a one directional ski that

my dad as the elan speedwaves and my brother used to take them when he doesnt ski park, its his favourite non-park skis so far
