Skis for me

currently i live in pa but im going to school in colorado next year at CSU and i am planning on picking up another pair of skis for more all mountian/pow i am about 5'7 150. i have been looking around but i really can not decide wat to get. i think i have narrowed it down to the elizabeths, seths or maybe hellbents just because they seem like such a fun ski..so bascially help me decide what would suit me best or if you had any other sugestions that would be great too.

hellbents seem like a fad ski to me, and if we dont have a killer winter next year some people are gonna be really pissed the bought brand new hellbents. because of your size i would highly consider the elizabeth. Groomers, park, pow, switch, with your wieght these skis will kill for you. the seths might be an option if you are doing more big mountain, cliff drops, lots of pow, not so focused on skiing switch. it really depends on what you want in a ski.

i think i am really leaning towards the elizabeth. what would be a good binding for them as well and where should i mount them?

something like the new markers, the ones like the jesters but with 12 din, you dont need any higher. and they are made for wide skis too. id say mount at recommended (-2 from true center?), its called that for a reason.

now, i didnt read the whole thread, but i never saw anything anout not getting those skis. for the thread creator, the elizabeth would be the perfect ski. in fact, i would rock the elizabeth if it werent for me being so big. its just a sick one-ski quiver type of ski.

agreed. if u like soft skis, theyre killer. its pollard's park ski, remember, its not pow specific. plus some people just like fat skis. i rode scratch bc's all year on a 400 foot hill of ice in pennsylvania because i liked the width and flex.
