he's about 5'6 110 pounds, intermediate-advanced all-mountain skier, begginer park skier

im getting him a pair for his birthday, and am looking at, k2 ext's, armada ar6's, line chronics, but am open to any suggestions, he deffinatly doesnt want a symetrical as he will be doing a lot of all mountain as well. also prefferably a cheaper ski ski would be great.

legit suggestions= +k

just a question, what size ski has he had in the past, and does he like short or longer skis?

he has a pair of my realy beat up old dynastars in a 165, but he got a 170 j.o. pro rental at big white for a week and he skied them fine, didnt realy like them but the size was fine, plus hes gonna grow

they are a little wide for him as he is a fat-ass and would not have the strength or ability to tun those very well at 92 under foot, but thanks fo the suggestion

unless youre making bank or just suggesting these to your parents to buy for him, i would suggest getting something from last year

2009 s2 is a very good suggestion (80mm waist last year)

2009 invaders

2008 fujatives if you can find them

2009 s4 would be a good ski as well

armada ar6

armada el rey since he is only an intermediate/advanced as well

he sounds exactly like me. i got armada ar6 size 166 with griffons..he'll love that setup for a medium flex ski that he can tear up anything on.

other fantastic skis for him would be the

-rossi s4 (bombproof)

-armada thall (a little softer than the ar6, which i think i wouldve perfered over the ar6 flex wise)

-liberty LTEs (just like the ar6, just a little lighter and more pop due to bamboo core, but your talking a lot of skrilla with them)

-alpha 2 (if he wants to try something different and skis some powder and park)

you can send me a pm with any questions.

2010 167 line masterminds are absolutely perfect! only 349 dollars! It is an all mountain twin that is really easy to ski and turns on a dime but is also a fantastic park ski for a beginner skier. It is also very light and relatively soft so he would definitely be able to handle it!

PM me if you have anymore questions or you can visit www.lineskis.com for more info on it. It is a great ski and is very cheap!

personally because of what u described i would go with the line chronic. I love the ski (i dont own a pair but i have ridden it a bunch along with other ones) and because of the construction it can hit big table tops, little boxes, or just cruise all mountain. im not sure about what sizes they come in. but even if he grows and packs on some pounds he'll be fine on a 170-176 because its a park ski.

line inveder 09

armada ar6 or t-hall

k2 miss demeanor ( girl ski but very good)

same for arw more soft than the ar6 but for girl

in fact he not very heavy so he need some soft and flexy ski.

an if he wanna do somme all montain i say is better to pose the binding 2 or 3 cm offset of the center

so have fun in riding

i would agree with all of ur listed skis, EXCEPT the line invader, its so soft, personally i think its too soft for all mountain and even jumps! and because the invader is symetrical u definately dont want to mount it offset because it defeats the purpose of the ski. Again i would go with some line chronics, they are medium flex and ski really well.
