Skis for east coast

i'm looking for some new skis for the east coast, help me out. the size needs to be in the low-mid 170's. don't bash me with the searchbar garbage because i need up to date. what do you think about getting the elizabeths? THANKS
 
not lizzies, you need pubbies prob. even without knowing ur weight and height... publics or karmas or chronics are prolly wat u want. we dont get pow days here anyways so no need to worry about that. all those skis will take u anywhere over the mtn and they are all good in the park
 
def get the elizabeths awesome ski, u might want to consider the line prophet 130s to. I heard very good in trees. Maybe some pontoons and i heard armada is coming out with the ARG that you might want to consider. Reverse camber.

Volkl Dogans are super nice park skis, i have two sizes in the 70s and htey are used last year by the volkl pro team. i could give you a really nice deal... check out the volkl website
 
ewwwwwwwy....volkl dognes=explosion to the max...i wanted the karmas so i def. support cokl but the dogens are shit...they fall apart like mad...just use the searchbar if u dont beleive me and peep how many people have had problems with them...
 
Little of it on the east, haha, you must not be looking hard enough and skiing in the wrong places. I've had deeper days in the east then out west.
 
depends on where ur talking about on the east coast and thats kind of pathedic if uve had deeper days here cuz the west is full of deep ass pow days.
 
well here's the thing. I had a handful of real powder days last season (above the knee) one was in october, and the rest were in dec/jan. Typically we'll get a few feet on a good dump, and within a few days it's gone. I know that places like Jay peak get tons of pow, but i dont ski there. On average, the west coast has lots more powder than the east coast. Chances of skiing every day on powder are very slim, so buying a fat ski isnt that smart unless A: you have a back up for icy days. B: just prefer them ie. "Wider is better" or C: only ski on days that there's powder to be had.
 
where the hell were you skiing, was there a good 3 inches of ice on top of that fresh pow. Seriously. The east is all about ice, and granular snow. Plus i am gonna go with.....buy what ever the hell you want. Go out and shop around, make up your own mind. I have Line Prophet 130s, and i leave in fucking northern Ontario, which is Garbage hills ( literaly hills made of old burryed piles of garbage) ice, and ice snow. I don't give a shit what other people tell me. Just buy the ski you think will work best for you.
