Skis for Combat

Enough talk about how light or poppy or buttery today's skis are... what we all really want to know is which skis would be best for use as a medieval weapons?

Core strength, swing weight, edge sharpness... stabbyness? DISCUSS

 
the 10th mountain division faced true combat. they were on a crude AT setup and slayed nazis.

so if we're talking alpine combat, I'll take my hoji boot / mwerks kingpin / and swap to a ON3P woodsman 102 tour in a 182.

bomber / stealthy setup.
 
Sakanas would be ideal, because sakana kinda sounds like katana, and I wouldn’t want to be hit by a katana
 
I thought it was a known fact that volants from the 90s were of choice. Those were swords. If it was today, probably some nordica enforcers, head Kores, or dynastar m frees

C. Sharpened poles

D. Ski bike with canon

Whiteface has a pair of the all metal custom made Volants they used on display. I'll catch a flic next week, those things could be used as javelins.

Would work like a hollow point bullet sort of.

strike someone with the ski and on impact it shreds into 14,0000,000 pieces of shrapnel. Bad news to be on the receiving end.
