A friend of mine who skis mainly big mountain is looking to get more into the park scene. He is an advanced big mountain skier. Anyways here is his info.

Height: 5'11

Weight: 175 lbs

Age: 16

Wants in a ski: Mid flex, stiff enough to not wash out on landings, soft enough to butter and play around on, poppy

He is on a budget and this is going to be a park specific ski as he has vct's for pow and all mountain.

If you go to Tramdock.com right now you can get blizzard Poacher for $131 im not sure about flex or anything i was just suggesting for the budget part.

reno jibs would be ideal

like perfection

on a budget i would say chronics

also

check tramdock every hour or so

always wicked good deals

chronics, they've got a maple core so they're nice and poppy and stay that way. anthems are softer and have butter zones in the tip and tail, and carbon stringers so they're nice and poppy too. the walls are solid skis too, and Ar6's. The lines are probably gonna be the cheapest outa those ones.

Chronics might be nice
if he wants something wider he should try the Reno Jibs or rocker (if he's up for it)
maybe anthems if he likes the flex
^^^ probably not a good transition ski

boones look sick
arvs could also be sick

Ninthward firstblood might also work well for him

almost every company has a kinda fat parkish type ski (which seems to be what you want if he's making this transition)

just ask him what he wants...

Surface Watch Life might be good, Chronics, K2 Disorderly, AR6s, don't know about these ones very much, but Atomic Twins, Moment Reno Jibs, Liberty Phil LaRose, volkl Ledge, Movement Kamasutra and Fat-Y-Pus G Butter might be worth checking out.
