Congratulations to Tim Smith for being our first signed rider of the 2011 snow season. Tim is an extremely accomplished skier with 90% of his life spent in ski boots. He goes all out in the park, backcountry or even the ski lodge getting the ladies. Also known as T-schmeeeeezzzzz, Tim has been riding in the Lake Tahoe area for his entire life. If you've ever skied the Tahoe area you have undoubtably seen Tim inverted in a terrain park or huckin' a fetty at Alpine Meadows where this bay area native spends his winters.

Tim is also an accomplished distance and triathlon runner having completed his first Ironman this year placing in the top 10 in his age group!

Thanks! We will be posting some Tahoe events soon on here so everyone will get a chance to meet and ski with him later this season. Tim's a great dude and goes out of his way to help everyone enjoy the sport!

But I dont want to take away from Tim, Dudes a steeze skier and we are stoked hes gonna wear our clothes this year!
 
He's a local Tahoe skier. Decently known, but hey..... we dont have pockets the size of burton here...... We do what we can to help and promote local skiers.
 
I thought Tim was going to have a special on ESPN where he would make "The Decision" about which major outerwear company to sign with. This announcement is relatively anticlimactic.
 
Timbo Slice in the houuuuuuuuuuuuuuse. Big ups to Scott and the rest of the Skirp crew. Many good things to come this winter in the North Lake area. Be sure to come and check us out at the Level 1 premier at Lakeside Pizza in Tahoe City on Saturday, October 23rd. Me, Scott, and the rest of the Skirp crew will be there to watch the unveiling of this dope movie. Yee yee!
