Skipping School?

I had a friend who was in Yearbook and he had access to the attendance computer to see if the people he needed to interview were in class or not, so whenever I skipped I would just let him know what classes I missed and he would go in the morning and excuse them... the good ol' days...

heh, jk, if you have a good reason so skip like fresh pow or something, have a friend call the school from a cell phone and say that you havea doctors appointment or have a female friend (with good writing) write you a note and put their cell phone number at the bottom so if the school calls, a girl answers and clears it (yes, is this joe's mom? yes, he has a docs appt.)

its easy to skip at my school, if you miss a class they call you at home at 8pm so i just keep my line busy if i know i skiped that day and erase the message before my parents get it... the school doesn't do anything further to prevent future skipping. its great!

signatures are overrated.

I went to a private high school, so I didn't ever skip any classes except for at the very end of my senior year... but there was this one time I honestly forgot I had a class (we had 'free blocks' and i got confused).... it was pretty funny, and for some reason the teacher didn't care.

school is a boring waste of your life so take a break now and then. one frikin period a week is almost nothing. but yeah if u skip all the time it can be troublesome. i skipped once in a while to get a slurpee instead of sitting through a mindless studying class.

Next year im taking a free block the last block of the day. That way i can go home right after block C at 12:45 instead of staying lunch and block D and leaving at 3

I've never skipped a class before without my parent's permission. If I really wanted to miss a class or a day, I'd just ask my parents. Obviously, they won't always say 'yes', but there are days.

skipping is easy unless u get caught...so when u skip go somewhere off school grounds easy as that... not recommended tho! skipping has its prices to pay like missing out on a test or pop quiz thats worth alot of marks... cant redo the test unless you have a note from you folks... but if you do skip do it for something worth it.. like skiing or seeing a ill friend or because u feel ill

The only reason i would skip is to go skiing but i can go skiing after school if i want so its cool... but all the ski places around where i live suck so i would need a car which i dont have to drive to tremblant so ya skippin is a waste of time for me

if its a good enough day, and my mom is off, she would let me go with her and she'd have me give a note to say i had an appointment so i could leave early or just cal and say i have to do sumthing like an appointment. shes dun it a couple times. but not lately though. hopefully she'll do it for me a few times this year

wow at my school its so easy. if u dont wanna go a block u just leave. then later if ur teacher marks u absent (which one of mine never did... i was 'there' everytime i skipped) u just get a note saying that u were marked absent and ur supposed to get it signed by ur teacher but if u dont nothing happens. sooooo easy

i do really well in school so my parents let me skip practically whenever i want. i'm skipping the third day of school this year to compete in the green mountain stage race
