Skipping Christmas

Christmas is one of those times of the year when you get to go home, spend time with the family and catch up with old buddies you thought were dead in a ditch. But this year, me and some dudes are skipping Christmas to go skiing at Jacksonhole again. With free lodging it's a no brainer, was just wondering if anyone else has done shit like this and how heated was your moms because mine is 10/10 heated.

every year my family takes the opportunity of nobody being on hill, to go ski. we all love it, its one of the emptiest days its great

I work christmas probably and it's way too expensive to travel cross country for it. Also airports would be fucked. I might try to go next year. Saw a deal early this year for 350, prolly should have grabbed it but need to save my loot. Next year I'll try and get a thanksgiving or christmas with the fam.

You should definitely go to Christmas if its convent. Christmas and Thanksgiving are the two times that brings families together. You shouldn't pass it up.

Usually instead of exchanging gifts or celebrating Christmas traditionally we book a 3-4 day trip somewhere and ski our little hearts out. 10/10 would recommend

Last year I skied on Christmas day because I had to work on the Eve. There wasnt enough time to travel home. This year My parents bought a place in FL and I have a different job that doesnt suck. I booked a cheap flight to hang out with them for a couple days. Even though I had a good time skiing last year I hated not being home with my family. My parents are getting pretty old. They wont be around much longer

Im jewish too, but my mother is a christian, but we just ski then get crepes
