Skins for Prophet 130s??????

Yeesh, for those you might have to buy two pairs and double up on each ski. I know a few companies make really wide ones specially adapted for twins, but those are pretty pricey. Sorry, thats all I've got.

you could just throw some 130mm skins on there and hope they do the job. dont know how much slippage you would get from that, though.

yea they make em. probably custom order, might be able to snag a pair online or somethin middle of the season.

common mistake though, especially with a fatty ski like the 130. you dont need a shaped skin. if you have a 130mm skin which are common in every shop, youll be absolutly fine. shit, you could go 110 and be fine. it dosnt have to be shaped all the way to the tip of the ski. youll stick fine, trust me, especially if your underfoot is covered completely.

I think he would be fine with a 130. some base would be on the snow, but with 130mm of skin touching the snow I doubt the ski would move back at all.

It really would depend on his weight and stuff though, thats still a lot of surface area ratio wise that would be 'unskinned' and distributing his weight. I would maybe try asking a ski shop or something for ideas. Another alternative would be to call a company that makes skins and ask if they do custom orders. Lastly, you could buy the material (or kill a seal) and make them yourself.
