Skimboarding

i def skim whenever i get the opportunity. i live in vermont so it can be a challenge, but its still really fun.
 
I got a skimboard for a present, but it turns out I have a talent for failing at it. Its actually kind of weird... but yeah lol maybe you can buy mine~
 
I do i live in ct im trying to start up a skim clothing company, i usualy go up to road island or out to block island to skim cause ct inst really that good
 
unless you are 4'5'' 60 lbs you aint riding waves on that. if you serious about getting into it you will need a foam/ fiberglass board. pm with questions if you want.
 
I have one and when I go to the beach like two or three times the year I do it, but it's not like a serious thing. I just ride it down into the waves and falll or across the beach. Theres not much to do unless you have the surfboard type one which is a waste of money because I don't do it much

i have a zap bomb and i like it alot. if u really want to get out past the puddles than you kinda have to learn to get on the board in one step. u retain so much more speed that way and its easier to get out. but surfings alot easier for that kinda stuff because it doesnt depend too much on how far out the waves are breaking.
 
o i love it. always out around Rhode Island area skiming it up. not into surfing the waves yet, but just skiming acrosse the open sands is sweet
 
i do but its not like ocean skimming. we set up rails and do it on sandy shallow parts of the lake, really fun to mess round on and slide rails/ollie stuff
 
Well I live on the ocean in BC and the tide infront of my house goes out really far like nearly a km kinda far. So I'm out nearly daily if the weather is nice. I have been making my own boards for the past couple of years.
 
anytime my friends and i spot a field at like a school or something that gets flooded for irrigation we go skimboarding.
 
I do! I ride a zap wedge (pretttty shitty) so if you see a chick on the east coast (Maine/New Hampshire/Mass) trying to pretend she can skim, it's probably me.
 
started when i ws 8(now 17), i skimmed at Milton Head SC, perfect spot, but ive never ridden anything good like Zap, only knockoffs.
 
i ride a surf m (sucky wicked tiny but i like wicked small boards) board it was 30 dollars so i bought it

i just cruise up and down the sand not that phsyco stuff some guys do
 
i have no where to do it at my cottage because its all rocks but i get really shallow water and throw the board and then jump on it in the shallow water. pretty similar
