Skimboard Graphic Design?

So I'm making my own skimboard for something to get my mind off skiing; I've made a few designs I want to put on my skimboard and I want some feedback on them like which one looks the coolest etc.
Also I'm open to any suggestions.

The First one I made "Keeley Hazel":

the keeley one would be hella dope if you took out the words, and the summer blast one would be awesome if you did the black thing again, but without that green creature.
 
^You know what, I HAVE NO IDEA

I have a bunch of possibilities, paint, decal, buy a poster, cut the chick out, position it, then just put the finish over it, I have no clue as to what I'm gonna end up doing... :(
 
dont use black. it absorbs more heat then white and will melt your wax and burn your feet. go for the second graphic
 
very true! the rails of my surfboard are a dark blue and the wax constantly melts or won't stick to them.
 
that is exactly what i was thinking. but those are sick. you could also do a wood-grained one, i think that would be kinda cool
 
^Its from this T-shirt website I found, its called Hot Summer and I photoshopped it onto my skimboard template and tweaked it. I think its either gonna be the Keeley or Hot Summer only because I'm not sure how I can get Keeley onto the board
