Skiing's Really Lame Now

Lol cry some more you bitch. Your stance on the Olympics shouldn't dictate whether you love skiing itself or not. That's a case of you caring too much about what other people do, and not paying enough attention to what skiing means to you personally. If you're the kind of person to quit on skiing just because of changes in how the sport is governed, than you never liked it enough to begin with.
 
I think I have the solution for you, but it doesn't come cheap. You might need a pair of skis that will stoke the fires of your soul.... or try snowboarding.

Maybe try some music... but I can see where you're coming from. If I laid out my opinions I would only further alienate myself.
 
Who really cares? Shouldn't we all be stoked that skiing's popular now?

If not, then again, why would you care.

You've got skis, and the snow.

And if you've got this stuff, life should be great.

Quit worrying about the state of freeskiing, worry about yourself.
 
The performances that our fellow skiers threw down in the Olympics was nothing short of incredible. Yes, people hate on future spins and triple flips, but how many people in the world are doing those tricks right now? I have no doubt in my mind Joss was stoked as ever after landing that triple; not only because he won Gold in the Olympics, but because he threw down a sick run on the biggest stage on the planet doing what he loves to do most, ski! Being a competitive skier doesn't mean you love the sport any less nore are they blemishing it.

They love the sport, they're just lucky and talented enough to be able to call skiing their profession, and make money doing it. If you let the fact that freeskiing is growing effect your love for the sport then find a new passion, but keep the hate elsewhere.
