what the fuck is up with you, skiing without poles is fun. only shitty skiers need them in the park and on groom

Shitty skiers are the ones who DON'T need poles. If you don't know how to use them, then leave them at home.

They are not crutches, they are not for flailing madly in the air.

They are used for a reason. If you are not using them then you are not skiing properly.

sorry dude i dont think your equation is equal on both sides...i think the real equation is skiing w/out poles = the hottest shit ever. especially if they are filming.

no poles is fine for in the park, it can look pretty sweet.

but outside the park, you are at a disadvantage.
 
im not stoked on it, but i do it sometimes just for a change. let him do what he wants. hes pro and you arent.
 
if you want to ski, go fucking skiing, with skis, boots, bindings, and poles.. if you can't accept the whole package find a cheap snowboard, a pair of snowblades, or a tennis racket.

no poles is sick and fun. if you havent tried it then dont hate on it. a lot of skiers in minnesota have dropped the poles because we have a lot of tow ropes instead of lifts in the park and its easier to do laps without them. it gives you so much steeze after you perfect it because you are concious of what your arms are doing in the air. it helps you get away from flailing and shit. so sick and makes you way better in the park
 
I agree my postes are not the greatest, all Im saying is if your going to say something as pointless as , o this again, and not even give a statement, just dont say anyting, the sixofspades still owns this thread as I said earlier, so skiing in MN with no poles is what you are repin, sweet
 
I say any thread that has anything to do with skiing without poles should be automatically deleted. this arguement gets very old
