Skiing without a pass

heres how you do it:

go to ski hill

put your shit on

if your lucky, you get past the lifties checkin tickets

get to the top of the lift

ski down as fast as possible

ski into tree, building, fence, gas tank whatever

get a life, fuck, support the industry and but passes or tickets
 
Ive gone whole days without ever having my pass scanned, but this year, they have a person scanning every time, even if they know you. If there is a lift that can't be accessed from the base, normally there is nobody scanning passes, so you could hike up, and stay at that lift all day.
 
yea fuck man if u can afford ski gear and a ride up there u can afford a ticket dont be a retard
 
the only place i would condone this is at blue mtn...cuz the lift tickets there are insanely expensive...plus the park chair never checks

There is the obvious green pass.

But I rode keystone for a week last year and didnt pay once. But I knew someone that worked there, so it worked.
 
some people I know just buy one at the start of the season. My hill is tiny and crappy and they don't always check passes, so they usually can get away with it when teh lifties see they have a pass on their coat. However, you can do it legitimately by getting your level 1 ski instructing permit and teaching lessons. That way you get free lift passes AND you get paid. There is soem initial cost though, but its not too much for the benefits you get, b/c I know with CSIA you get discounts on gear too.
 
last year i paid for a pass maybe 4 times. i always just saved the tickets and when i would get there i would see what ticket color for the day was and then go to my stash and find one the matched and put it on my coat.
 
it is kinda fucking gay now, a pass to ride for one day at my mt. is 53-54$ what a fucking rip! I go up about 35 times a year and that would = 1750$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gay as shit! but i just buy a my seasons pass in march or april for the next season and i get a 400$ discount on our 750$ passes
