Skiing with shoes instead of boots

any ever tryed. I used my brothers skiies and my shoes fit in them. Its so wierd skiing cuz u dont have the front and back of the boot supporting you. so whenever u lean forward u fall on ur face, but when u lean back u fall on ur ass. but if you could get good at it u could hit a jump and take off a ski and then slip it back on before u land (kinda like ssx).

i used work boots so they had a stronger toe than shoes but it was still hard

My friends shoes can fit in my old skis, heres a picture of what happened when he went down my front lawn. He was going down, then a car came and he tried to turn when he was on the sidewalk, ha ha.

i just used my shoes, and i hit a barrel bonk, and i also steped onto a box and i slid it but i fell when i jumped off.

i also find it easyer to go switch rather than forwards, i also went up a chairlift and my ski almost fell off

Ive never tried it but my friend and I switch. I snowboard in ski boots and he skis in snowboard boots.

i wanted to jump on but i was scared to go that fast, so just stoped at the lip then i steped onto the box and slid it, i was just scared of twisting my anle, cuz i was sliding with my bad acle infront.

Why? They are called ski boots for a reason.
